MAFS Australia has had some very fiery characters over the years and this series is no different – enter, Gia Fleur.

Gia, 35, grabs all the attention within minutes of tonight’s launch episode with her confident attitude at the Hens’ party.

The blonde-haired disability support worker is quick to throw shade over several of the brides shortly after meeting them.

First she brags to Rachel Gilmore, who was previously abandoned by her ‘situationship’, that she’s never been dumped.

“I leave every guy,” she smugly declares to Rachel and the room of brides-to-be.

Gia goes on to explain how she moved to Los Angeles when she was 22, got “covered in tattoos” and “did Playboy”.

She tells the girls she’d go to the Playboy Mansion “every weekend” and “have the buffet with Heff”.

Bec Zacharia tries to turn the attention back to the group, by asking everyone to speak about when their last relationship was.

Speaking to the camera in a confessional, Gia snipes: “Bec? Is that her name? She was looking at me in a way that was, ‘I hate this’ and I was giving it back. Like, relax. You’re a five out of 10, so chill.”

Back in the room, Gia continues to talk about her beauty pageant past. Bec, meanwhile, says she thinks Gia’s “attitude stinks”.

But who is Gia Fleur? And what is her real name?

MAFS Australia: What is Gia Fleur’s real name

A deep dive on ‘Gia Fleur’ is unlikely to throw up much, as apparently she has lots of previous names. In fact, one TikTok account claims Gia has up to 12 different aliases.

Gia’s birth name is said to be Cassandra Lee Bassett. She was then said to have used Cassandra Lee as her Playboy name. Gia is believed to have used the moniker of Cassandra Lee Gallo for other modelling jobs, too,

Years ago, she used the persona Goldie Volpe while pursuing a rap career.

MAFS Australia 2026 has been airing Down Under since February 2, meaning fans over there are some way ahead of us. Apparently, it was Gia’s co-stars who let slip her actual birth name.

One of this year’s grooms, Danny Hewitt, is said to have let it drop during an episode of spin-off show, Stan‘s MAFS: After The Dinner Party.

Speaking to the Daily Mail Australia, Gia has since said: “It’s a very sensitive topic, I actually changed my name because of a domestic violence situation I was in.

“It was a very dangerous situation and things have happened to me in my past. So people bringing that up as something to laugh about and joke about is not okay.”

MAFS Australia’s Gia before and after

Gia admits herself that she’s had cosmetic surgery to change her appearance. In her opening piece to camera she describes herself as “beautiful with fake [bleep].”

Pictures of Gia have also now emerged of how she looked before she went under the knife.

The TikTok account So Dramatic has shared throwback pictures of Gia and she looks completely different.

Back in the day, she had dark brown hair and we actually don’t recognise her at all. One snap sees her posing with a fellow brunette girl and we’d struggle to tell you which one is which!

Commenting on the post, one MAFS Australia fan wrote: “Not just names, she’s had a few different faces too.”

And another simply said: “Don’t recognise her in the old pics.”
