Did you also guess correctly? The Masked Singer 2026 returned for Series 7 tonight (January 3), where Goldfish was unveiled as singer Anne-Marie.
For the first time in the show’s history, the ITV show is featuring bands performing. Saturday night saw Goldfish appear alongside No Trout, while tomorrow (January 4) will bring Emperor Penguin and the Antarctic Funkeys into the spotlight.

Goldfish on The Masked Singer
At the beginning of the episode, Goldfish kicked off the show by singing Rosé and Bruno Mars’ hit APT.
When host Joel Dommett pointed out one of No Trout’s band members wearing black belts, judge Maya Jama guessed early on that Anne-Marie could be underneath the costume, who does have a black belt in Karate.
When it came down to the judges’ final guesses, Mo Gilligan said Liberty X star Michelle Heaton. Meanwhile, Davina McCall said Paloma Faith and Jonathan Ross guessed Ray Winstone.
Maya kept her guess as chart-topping singer Anne-Marie, and was proven to be right.
Like Maya, many viewers at home managed to guess Goldfish as Anne-Marie.

‘I knew it was Anne–Marie’
“Anne-Marie was possibly the most obvious unmasking ever. I knew Goldfish was Anne-Marie,” one user wrote on X.
“Turns out it was that obvious! Anne-Marie is Goldfish!” another person shared.
“I knew it was Anne–Marie, she was so easy to guess. First one of the season, I know she’s not a contestant,” a third remarked.
“That was the easiest guess ever,” a fourth said.
Following the first initial clues earlier this week, many viewers had already guessed Anne-Marie ahead of the series launch.
After she was unmasked, Anne-Marie sang her hit 2002 before joining the panel for the rest of the episode.
