The Masked Singer revealed yet another celebrity tonight (January 4), where Teabag was revealed as rapper Professor Green.

Earlier on Sunday’s episode, Emperor Penguin performed alongside Antarctic Funkeys, who was later unmasked as comedian Matt Lucas. He then joined the panel in trying to guess who this year’s contestants are.

Elsewhere, the show introduced six brand-new characters to the competition — Teabag, Monkey Business, Yak, Toastie, Conkers and Arctic Fox — as the latest series got into full swing.

Once everyone had performed, the studio audience voted for their favourites. And unfortunately for Teabag and Yak, they landed in the bottom two.

Following their entertaining performance, judge Mo Gilligan announced the panel had chosen to save Yak, meaning that after one performance, Teabag was being sent home.

For their final guesses, the panel guessed a range of guesses from Richard Osman and Stephen Merchant to Rob Rinder.

When they revealed themselves, Teabag was, in fact, British rapper Professor Green, leaving the panel stunned.

Maya was especially shocked, explaining that the pair are friends and had last spoken to each other just a few days ago.

Following his reveal, Teabag took to the stage one last time, where Professor Green performed without his mask on.

‘Did not expect Professor Green’

Just like the panel, viewers were not expecting Teabag to be Professor Green.

“Can’t imagine anyone got that – go Professor Green,” one user wrote on X.

“Did not expect Professor Green,” another person shared.

“That reveal is MENTALLLLL,” a third remarked.

“I am stunned at Professor Green and so raging that I didn’t guess it, why were his clues so hard pls,” a fourth said.

Well I was not guessing Professor Green! It was a Green Teabag after all!” a fifth viewer declared.

Respect to @professorgreen – had absolutely no idea!!! Well played!!!” a sixth shared.

Teabag became the second contestant voted off the 2026 series. Last night (January 3), Disc Jockey was revealed as Alex Jones.
