Meet the MAFS USA couples and the experts as the American version of the show makes a big return to E4

The latest series from America is landing on E4 next week and it’s tipped to be even wilder than the Aussie series.
The dust is only just settling from the likes of Gia, Bec and Alissa being in our living rooms for the last three months, so we’re not even sure we can handle it.
Shall we just strap in and enjoy the ride? Of course we should!
Here’s everything you need to know about the Married At First Sight USA couples and the experts.
MAFS USA: Who are the experts?
Married At First Sight USA hasn’t aired in the UK for a number of years, so you’re forgiven if you don’t know who the experts are.
The series that is about to drop is season 19. It aired in America between October and November 2025.
So who are the experts? First up is Dr Pepper Schwartz. The relationship expert and sociologist has been on MAFS USA since the first series. Consider her a MAFS OG.

Pastor Calvin Roberson is also on the team. Referred to as Pastor Cal, the marriage counsellor and pastor joined the show in season 4.
The third expert is a relative newbie in comparison. Dr Pia Holec is a sex therapist and psychotherapist. She was brought in to MAFS USA from season 15 onwards.
But don’t get too comfy. It has been reported that Peacock, the show’s broadcaster in the States, is planning on replacing all three experts for series 20.
Who are the brides and grooms
It’s likely you’ll get to know all of the MAFS USA brides and grooms pretty quickly. Due to the length of the series – a mere 14 episodes, compared to MAFS Australia’s 39 – there are only five couples.
This series is set in Austin, Texas.
The brides are:
- Belynda, a 47-year-old aesthetic sales consultant
- Brittany, 29, a strategic HR business partner
- Jalyn, a 27-year-old real estate agent
- Meghann, 37 and also an estate agent
- Rhonda, 63. She works as a performance marketing executive
The grooms are:
- Chad, 54, a real estate agent (notice a theme?!)
- Derrek, a 38-year-old chief automator (we’re still not sure what that is…)
- Josh, 31, a contractor
- Pat, a 59-year-old space operations consultant
- Will, 30, also a consultant – but not for space

The experts have matched them into these couples:
- Chad and Belynda
- Josh and Jayln
- Will and Brittany
- Pat and Rhonda
- Derrek and Meghann
When does MAFS USA start?
Married At First Sight USA lands on our shores on Monday May 18, 2026. The episodes aren’t as long as MAFS Australia’s, however, meaning they have a later start time of 8pm.
Each episode is an hour long, ending at 9pm. MAFS USA will also air every weeknight, from Monday to Friday. Don’t let this trip you up if you’re used to the MAFS Australia Monday to Thursday schedule.
This Monday, viewers can watch the first two couples say “I do”. However, don’t be fooled by first impressions. One newlywed ends up clashing with their new in-laws, and another faces a big twist in their new family.
