Michael and Louise’s eldest daughter Gemma, 23, takes centre stage in the show.
But 18-year-old Emily, sister Jessica, 16, and son James, 20, all feature throughout Meet the Owens.
Each of their offspring is at different stages in their lives and starting to forge out their own career paths.
Viewers are told early on how Emily has her sights set on flying the nest and going to university.

Who is Emily Owen?
Emily is introduced in the opening episode of Meet the Owens. Viewers are instantly given the impression that Emily is the brains of the bunch and plans to head off to university. She hopes to study Sports Psychology.
That big change then comes later in the six-part series. Michael and Louise are steeling themselves for her moving away.
Michael says: “Emily’s taking her A Levels and is preparing for uni.”
Emily, who was a champion sprinter as a child, explains: “I want to study Sports Psychology; how to deal with all the stress of sports and anxiety. I like the idea of finding out what people are thinking.”
Emily was forced to give up competitive athletics due to a hip injury. She says she now wants to help other people deal with similar mental struggles in sport.
Michael is seen picking her up from school after her A Level exams, while mum Louise looks through university prospectuses with her.

Emily’s boyfriend and lavish family holidays
Emily elder sister Gemma has a huge fanbase already following her 2022 appearance on Love Island. She made it to the end of the ITV2 series with Luca Bish, although they later split.
Emily, meanwhile, is slowly building up her own social media following. She already has almost 30,000 followers on Instagram and her photos are enough to make anyone green with envy.
The teenager’s grid is full of lavish sun-kissed holiday pictures of trips to the Maldives with her family. She’s also snapped in Spain, Ibiza, Dubai, and Cyprus.
Writing in the comments, one of Emily’s followers said of one photo: “Beautiful Emily.” Others have described her as “stunning.”
Emily is also posing with her boyfriend in multiple photographs online. Many were taken at horse racing events, including Royal Ascot and Goodwood.
However, she has kept her boyfriend’s name a mystery…
