Nobody's Fool leaves ITV viewers seriously divided after first episode
People shared their thoughts...ITV viewers have been left rather divided by Danny Dyer’s strategic new game show Nobody’s Fool.
The actor fronts the programme – which premiered on Saturday night (May 23) – alongside Emily Atack. It follows ten contestants whose fate isn’t decided by how smart they are, but by how smart their fellow players think they are.
However, just one episode in and it appears that some viewers are rather unimpressed…

ITV viewers slam Nobody’s Fool
Nobody’s Fool is a new ITV game show with a big twist. Across the series, ten players from the UK have to determine who is the weakest among them and eliminate them.
In a bid to build a group prize pot, the contestants take part in daily individual quizzes that will test different areas of intelligence. But only the players themselves will know how well they have done and what information they share with their fellow players is up to them.
A synopsis says: “With quizzes played in secret, preconceptions, prejudices and first impressions start to come into play, with snap judgements and misdirection keeping the contestants, and viewers, guessing.”
But after the first episode, viewers quickly aired their thoughts online – and the reception was mixed.

“Budget version of The Traitors #NobodysFool,” said one person on X. Another added: “So this #nobodysfool is 100% a rip off of The Traitors.”
A third fumed: “[Bleep] poor attempt at copying the HIT show The Traitors! Not only is the show [bleep] the presenters are garbage!!! Won’t be watching another episode as it is a complete waste of 70 mins!!!”
Someone else penned: “ITV making an obvious mistake. Hiring a 2nd rate actor to host the show instead of an established presenter. Many people don’t like Danny and will automatically switch off.”

What else did viewers say?
However, it wasn’t all negative though as another viewer declared: “Well, in the end I enjoyed it. Not as good as The Taitors but it’s ok.”
Someone else wrote: “I’m liking #NobodysFool so far not a bad opening.” A third commented: “Ok this show actually impressed me.”
Meanwhile talking about Nobody’s Fool, Danny previously said: “This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I’ve seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end.”
Emily also shared: “It’s so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh.
“The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can’t wait for everyone to watch, it’s an absolute must see.”
