Rebekah Vardy hints at series 2 of The Vardys on ITV with husband Jamie despite dividing fans with reality show
It might not be the end of the storyRebekah Vardy has hinted that her reality show with footballer husband Jamie could return for a second series.
The couple’s brand new series, The Vardys, landed on ITV this week and followed the family as they upped sticks and moved from England to Italy.
Rebekah was left with the headache of finding a house and new schools for their children, while Jamie took his first steps onto the pitch at his new club, Cremonese.

But it’s fair to say their fly-on-the-wall show did leave viewers divided.
While some loved watching the Vardys’ life behind the lens, others accused Rebekah of “whinging” about her enviable lifestyle.
Despite this, the WAG has now teased that more episodes could be on the way.
Rebekah Vardy hints at series 2 of The Vardys
The Vardys came to an end last night on ITV1. Fans watched in horror as the family returned home to their £2million Italian villa to find it had been burgled.
Frightening CCTV footage showed masked men armed with crowbars wandering around their bedrooms and rifling through their wardrobes.

By the end of the mini-series, Rebekah had decided she and the children would be happier – and safer – back home in the UK. Jamie had to remain in Italy for the rest of the 25/26 season, while everyone else left.
Rebekah has now been grilled by fans about whether there will be a second series of The Vardys on ITV.
Writing on Instagram, the mum-of-five said in response: “We only ever agreed to do 3 episodes! But we will see! It’s a busy time right now!”
She was also told by another fan: “Currently watching the series on catch up and I love it. We want more!”

Rebekah again replied: “Ahh thank you! We will see!” She added a ‘pair of eyes’ emoji for good measure.
But in what appears to be her biggest ‘confirmation’ of a second series yet, she also shared a selfie she had posed for with one of the producers from The Vardys.
He had captioned the picture: “Loved filming with these guys. Roll on season 2!”

The Vardys sparks mixed reaction from ITV viewers
The Vardys dropped onto ITV1 on Tuesday this week and played out over three consecutive two nights. All three episodes were also available to stream immediately on ITVX.
But the show definitely sparked a divide among viewers.
Writing online, one complained: “For ‘The Vardys’….read Becky, me, me, me and a bit of the kids…. oh and a the odd football highlight…I guess ITV knew what they were doing to get people talking about it….”
Another added: “Whoever had the idea to put this on ITV1 prime time over 3 nights needs sacking.”
And a third penned: “All she has done is moan and winge. She has the most amazing lifestyle, but she moans and complains.. ‘woe is me’.”

Someone else chimed in: “Everyone earning peanuts in the UK has every sympathy with you Becky whilst you fly private jet to settle into your mansion looking over an Italian lake with your beautiful family whilst your husband brings in the big bucks!!!”
However, others loved it – and would gladly welcome a second series.
“This has been a superb watch. Completely changed my mind on both,” someone admitted.
Another viewer agreed: “Really enjoyed watching The Vardys on ITVX. They seem like a lovely, down to earth family. Especially their children.”
And one person happily remarked: “Just catching up on #thevardys great documentary so far.”
Would you welcome a second series?
