10 stars we need to see return for Second Marriage at First Sight: From Ella Morgan to Georges Berthonneau
Fans are desperate for the returnsSecond Marriage at First Sight has officially been confirmed by Channel 4, and it’s safe to say fans already know who they want to see on their screens again.
With it due to air later in the year, no official line-up has been confirmed. But it’s going to absolutely huge, as for the first time ever, the show will pair up former contestants from both UK and Australia.
So, who do we want to see return for their second chance at love? So many people! But here’s a few dream returns for Second Marriage at First Sight.
1. Georges Berthonneau
Georges appeared on series eight of MAFS UK, back in 2023, and it’s safe to say he had quite the bumpy journey on the show.
He was paired with Peggy Rose, and despite their rocky road, the couple made it through the experiment successfully.
However, things didn’t go to plan on the outside, as just a few months later, Georges announced they had split. And everyone was shocked when he appeared to go out with Love Island star Ekin-Su.
And when she shockingly went back into the villa in 2025, he claimed they were still in a relationship. But now that he is evidently single, maybe he will follow in his ex’s footsteps and head back to where it all began for him? We would love to hear the stories he could share…
2. Ella Morgan
Also in 2023, Ella Morgan made MAFS history when she became the very first transgender bride to appear on the show.
Initially, Ella was paired with Nathanial Valentino but on their honeymoon, Ella was accused of attention seeking and things got frosty between them.
Later on in the same series, Ella shared a smooch with another contestant, JJ Slater – Katie Price’s ex-beau. The pair then re-entered the process as a new couple.
They made it all the way to the end, but didn’t manage to make things work on the outside. But since the show, Ella has made her fair share of reality TV appearances, including Celebs Go Dating.
And eagle-eyed fans noticed she commented on the announcement post asking if they would have her back!
So, with Ella certainly still looking for love, perhaps she could appear on the cast list for Second Marriage at First Sight? We hope so!
3. Emma Barnes
Back in 2024, Emma was a firm favourite. But surprisingly, it wasn’t because of drama. Instead, a lot of fans really just wanted her to have a better experience.
She was paired with Caspar, but they never really made things work, struggling to find any spark with each other, despite Emma’s efforts.
Unfortunately, they split during the show and actually left the experiment. But it appeared not all of it was friendly, as Emma later claimed she was snubbed from the reunion show.
However, over the years since, she has admitted she would do TV again. So, what better way than to get her proper second chance on the new show?
4. Nelly Patel
She may have only been on the show in 2025, but we would all love to see Nelly back on our screens once again.
During her time on the show, it seemed things between her and partner Steven were going smooth. But after their honeymoon, it all went downhill, and Steven was found to be on the dating app Hinge!
Since their split, Nelly has seemingly stayed single. But as she frequently hangs out with some of her other co-stars, getting her on the cast list for Second Marriage at First Sight would be amazing.
5. Matt Jameson
In series six of MAFS UK in 2021, Matt made history by being part of the first ever same-sex couple on the show when he was paired with Dan McKee.
The audience absolutely loved them together, and they made it all the way to the end. However, on the outside, things didn’t go as they had hoped.
Months after they moved in together, Matt and Dan split, insisting that it was amicable and they were going to be friends.
Matt did go on to find love again after the show. However, he and his partner split back in 2025. Which means it could be the perfect time to go on Second Marriage at First Sight!
6. Julia-Ruth Smith
We have to admit, we all love when drama ensues on these shows. So, bringing back Julia-Ruth from the 2025 series of MAFS UK would be pretty iconic.
During the show, she made it quite clear that she wasn’t interested in her partner, and very quickly fell out with others in the cast.
As a result, there were quite a few arguments at the dinner parties. And while they may have all been there to find love, we adore the drama!
And, since leaving the show, she has said she would love to go back… Now is her time!
7. Lucinda Light
Okay, let’s look at MAFS Australia. And the first one we need to see back on our screens is the iconic Lucinda Light.
She took part in the 2024 series of the Aussie version, but her romance with Timothy didn’t work out. However, fans were obsessed with her purely because she seemed like a genuinely nice person!
After the show, Lucinda has got herself a huge following here in the UK, and has even presented the MAFS UK podcast. Not only that but she bagged herself another E4 show, The Honesty Box, alongside Vicky Pattison. So, with her being so close to the E4 bosses, could we see Lucinda make a huge return? And could she be lucky in love this time?
8. Jessika Power
Now, none of us could ever forget Jessika Power after her iconic stint on the show in 2019. Over the years, she has earned the title of one of the most controversial stars on the show.
She was originally matched with Mick Gould. But it was clear she wasn’t that into that. So, she became involved with co-star Dan Webb. And soon enough, it became one of the most-talked about storyline on the show. And on the reunion show, they had a very public break-up!
Since the show, Jessika has remained on her quest for love, appearing on shows like Ex On The Beach and Celebs Go Dating. So, could we see her back for Second Marriage at First Sight?
9. Eliot Donovan
Viewers were left quite divided on Eliot during his time on the Aussie version last year. He initially walked away from his relationship on day 2.
But everyone was surprised when he reappeared later, with a new match. However, it wasn’t long before that came crashing down too during the show.
He has since been linked to another co-star, Jamie Marinos, but has insisted they are just good friends. So, if he is single, we would love to see him back on our screens.
10. Carina Mirabile
Finally, another one for the history books. Just last year, Carina made history when it was revealed she and her MAFS husband, Paul, had actually dated before the show – and he ghosted her.
However, they actually attempted to go all the way. And it looked like they were on the path, right up to the final vows. Instead, Carina chose to end their romance.
Following the show, Carina has gained her own massive following, as well as a podcast. So, if bosses are going to go for who the fans want to see, Carina is definitely that!
