The Traitors fans are about to discover who the Secret Traitor really is. But former contestants have shared the ‘game plan’ that the mystery player will have to follow in order to get further through the show.

Returning to its normal schedule tonight, the Secret Traitor is about to be revealed. Fans have been working hard to look for clues to figure out the mystery ahead of the show airing.

But nobody knows the game better than those who have been on it before. And even though the Secret Traitor is a show first, it doesn’t stop previous players from shining a light on the pressures that contestant must be feeling.

What is the Secret Traitor twist?

This year, for the very first time, The Traitors aren’t the ones holding the full power. Instead, a Secret Traitor has been selected. And as of right now, only Claudia knows who this is.

The Secret Traitor has been pulling all of the strings from the very beginning, controlling what the other traitors can do, and who they can murder.

But that’s all set to change tonight (January 7) when the other Traitors get to see who is behind the red cloak. And so does the audience.

Sme believe the reveal makes the twist slightly pointless. But many other fans can’t wait to see if they have been right or wrong.

There is just one issue though, which former contestants have flagged. The secret traitor must now put their trust in the other players to not throw them under the bus. And to do so, they might have their own game plan.

Contestant needs to have ‘game plan’ to go further

Speaking to The Sun, former contestants Jake Brown and Charlotte Berman have revealed what they think the player needs to do next.

Jake explained: “For the Secret raitor to go all the way, it would benefit them massively if they were already seen as an obvious faithful, like Harriet or Roxy. The faithfuls will believe their passionate roundtable speeches.”

Charlotte agreed, pointing out that revealing who the Secret Traitor is could now actually make them more vulnerable.

She said: “Assuming once they are revealed to the main traitors they play as a regular, then their higher power is gone. They are just as much at risk as the next person.

“They will now be at a significant disadvantage if Rachel and Stephen do decide to band together to oust them. It just depends on who they are and the alliances that might have already formed.”
