Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators series 5 episode 3 unleashes one of the meatiest rosters of guest stars in its cast yet.

Appearing in everything from Harry Potter to Last Tango in Halifax, these five recruits will certainly spice up the episode entitled Destruction, Blood, and Massacre.

When Frank receives a murder mystery party invitation from Bill, the local king of plumbing, the sleuth can’t resist because of several delicious elements.

Bill happens to be married to Frank’s childhood sweetheart and renowned casting director, Olivia, whom Sebastian is desperate to meet. Other attendees at the remote country manor include a politician, a solicitor, and Bill’s oldest friend.

U&Alibi tells us: “But as accusations run riot and secrets both old and new are brought to the surface, Bill suddenly drops dead at the dinner table.”

Holby City star Guy Henry plays Bill White?

Guy Henry, 64, has the honour of playing the Shakespeare & Hathaway series 5 episode 3 corpse, Bill. Holby City and Casualty fans will know the actor as the very complicated Henrik Hanssen, a role he played from 2010 and 2022.

The actor will be familiar to those who adored Extras. He played the BBC’s Head of Comedy Iain Morris in the Ricky Gervais comedy. Iain hideously contorted Andy Millman’s sitcom Where the Whistle Blows.

Guy was given the title role of Young Sherlock: The Mystery of the Manor House at the beginning of his career, before memorably stepping into the sandals of Rome’s Cassius.

He was later part of one of the streaming era’s biggest franchises thanks to his casting as Dr. John Monro in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Death in Paradise eventually wanted his services in 2024.

In terms of cinema, he’s appeared in V for Vendetta, and two Harry Potter films.

Shakespeare & Hathaway series 5 episode 3 cast: Who plays Olivia Bluebell?

As the genius casting director and romantic interest Olivia Bluebell, we have comedy titan Ronni Ancona.

She’s let loose various whacky characters in The Sketch Show, Fist of Fun, The Big Impression, and Monkey Trousers. Yet when she’s not playing for laughs, Ronni is just as comfortable in quizzes, talent shows, and on panels

She’s appeared on TV series such as Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, QI, Would I Lie to You?, and Strictly Come Dancing.

You may also remember the 57-year-old as Last Tango in Halifax’s Judith, or Jenna Fitch in Skins.

Who plays Paul Belch?

Bill’s shady righthand man at the company and best pal takes the form of Roger Griffiths.

Owning certain bragging rights for appearing in Batman Begins, the 60-year-old’s comfort zone is in soapland.

He played Mitch Baker in EastEnders, with 439 episodes to his name.

Other mentionable jobs include D-Brain in Channel 4’s Dubplate Drama, and Gabriel Drummond in Family Affairs.

Who plays Hannah Volumnia in the cast of Shakespeare & Hathaway series 5 episode 3?

Murder mystery party guest and politician Hannah is brought to life by Dido Miles.

She’s a six-time British Soap Awards nominee, but her regular part as Emma Reid in Doctors recently came to an end after 12 years.

Dido also appeared in Silent Witness, Rosemary & Thyme, and Men Behaving Badly for the odd episode.

In 1994, she had a minor role in the family drama Black Beauty opposite Sean Bean.

Who plays Eugene Bottom?

Raymond Coulthard is onboard as the amusingly-named Eugene Bottom.

He’s mixed it with the best in The Muppet Christmas Carol and The English Patient.

For three years, the 57-year-old was James Schofield in Hotel Babylon. And in 2013’s Call the Midwife festive special he portrayed Captain Goodacre.

Miles Edgerton in Mr Selfridge was a series regular role for Raymond.
