Snooker today: What time it's on, schedule and how to watch the World Grand Prix
The road to the World Snooker Championship 2026 continues this week
The World Grand Prix 2026 starts today, with snooker fans in the UK facing an early start – so make sure you know exactly what time it starts and how to watch all of the action.
It’s been a dramatic week in snooker. After pulling out of the Masters, Ronnie O’Sullivan returned… but he was knocked out of the German Masters by his old rival, Ali Carter.
Sadly, the Captain didn’t land a place in the final, either. It came down to Judd Trump and Shaun Murphy, with the Ace in the Pack beating the Magician 10-4.
The World Snooker Championship is closing in. But, first, we need to get through the World Grand Prix.

What time is the snooker on today?
Coverage from the World Grand Prix 2026 begins at 5am UK time on Tuesday, February 3. Further matches are scheduled for 11:30am.
Why is it so early, you’re probably asking if you’re in the UK? The tournament is being held at the Kai Tak Arena in Hong Kong, which is eight hours ahead.
