Strictly star Balvinder Sopal predicted by bookies to exit competition after landing in the bottom two three times
Balvinder has been in the dance-off more than any other remaining contestantStrictly Come Dancing 2025 is now officially past the halfway point and, with Blackpool fast approaching, it’s more bad news from the bookies for EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal.
Despite not landing in the dance-off this weekend, she has previously appeared in the bottom two three times – the most of any contestant left.
And it seems like her run of bad luck isn’t anywhere near over…

Strictly star Balvinder Sopal tipped to be voted off next
Last night (November 9), La Voix and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey landed in the bottom two with their pro partners. However, after fighting for their place in the competition, all four Strictly judges decided to save La Voix, sending Harry home.
And, while Balvinder did avoid the dance-off, one expert has shared that he reckons she’ll be back there this coming weekend.
With just eight contestants remaining, the competition has started to really heat up. According to exclusive odds from our sister site Entertainment Daily, things aren’t looking good for EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal.
SportsCasting‘s Shane Orton told ED!: “After Harry and Karen’s emotional exit on Sunday night following a tense dance-off with La Voix, attention has quickly turned to who might be next to leave. Balvinder Sopal once again heads the elimination betting at 5/4, but she’s becoming something of a battler after surviving three dance-offs with her partner Julian Caillon.”

Meanwhile, La Voix and Aljaž Škorjanec remain close behind her with odds of 7/4. Shane insisted the pair are “still walking a fine line after narrowly escaping elimination last weekend”.
He continued: “Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin sit at 6/1, which highlights Amber’s ongoing struggle with popularity — she continues to deliver high-quality performances yet remains underappreciated by both voters and the betting markets.”

George Clarke to win?
On the other hand, it’s good news for George Clarke, who is the current favourite to win.
“George Clarke has tightened into even stronger favouritism at Evens after a classy Viennese Waltz with Alexis Warr that scored 34,” Shane said of the influencer. However, he did warn that Lewis Cope and his pro partner Katya Jones are “hot on their heels” in the race for the Glitterball Trophy. This is despite them dropping a few spots in the overall leaderboard over the weekend.
They scored 35 points for their cha cha cha on Saturday night, after the first 40 of the series for their spooktacular Halloween Couple’s Choice.
