Bookies aren't backing her after she ended up in dance-off over the weekendBalvinder Sopal could be the next celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing, bookies reckon.
The EastEnders actress is one of many famous faces taking part in this year’s series of the BBC One show. She is partnered with new pro Julian Caillon, and the pair were doing well.
However, at the weekend, Balvinder found herself in the dreaded dance-off – much to the shock of viewers. And now she’s been dealt another major blow….

Balvinder Sopal in Strictly dance-off
On Saturday night (October 11), Balvinder and partner Julian Caillon took to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor again.
The pair danced a foxtrot to The Way You Look Tonight from the movie Swing Time. Viewers on the hashtag appeared to like it, with some fans claiming Shirley Ballas’ criticism of Balvinder was harsh.
The following night, soap star Balvinder ended up the dance-off against presenter Ross King. Fortunately for the actress, the judges decided to save her, meaning Ross was sent home.
However, according to recent odds from the bookies, Balvinder’s time in the show could be coming to an end sooner than she’d like…

Balvinder tipped to leave next
In odds exclusive odds shared with Entertainment Daily, online bookmaker SportsCasting has chalked up Balvinder at 6/1 odds to get booted from Strictly Come Dancing next. She’s the third favourite behind Chris Robshaw (11/10) and Stefan Dennis (2/1) to leave next Saturday night.
“Balvinder, despite being saved by the judges, is in the mix with odds of 6/1 to leave next after her surprise appearance in the bottom two raised questions about her public support,” said SportsCasting.
What’s more, Balvinder’s chance at taking home the glitter ball has been slashed too. She has odds of 66/1 to win the show.
SportsCasting said: “Balvinder Sopal’s odds have drifted right out to 66/1 after a shock appearance in the bottom two that caught plenty of fans off guard.”
‘Justice for Bal!’
During Sunday’s (October 12) results show, Balvinder and Julian found themselves in the bottom two alongside Ross King and Jowita Przystal.
While the couple was saved by the panel of judges, viewers still fumed over the results, insisting Shirley’s negative comments could have impacted the result.
“SHIRLEY THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT NOT BALVINDER,” one passionate user wrote on X. “Justice for Bal!!! Shirley’s bias needs dealing with asap,” another person shared.
