Strictly Come Dancing star Chris Robshaw has revealed how his family really feel about him taking part on the show this year.

The rugby player has been partnered with pro dancer Nadiya Bychkova on Strictly Come Dancing 2025. And while they found themselves in the dance-off a couple of weeks ago, last week they managed to avoid it.

Chris has been married to Camilla Kerslake since 2018, with the pair tying the knot after eight years of dating. The couple have two sons, Wilding, four, and Hunter, one. And, in an exclusive chat with Entertainment Daily, Chris has revealed how his family are finding the Strictly experience.

Chris’ family ‘love’ the journey

While every year the dreaded Strictly Curse brings about fears for relationships, for Chris, it seems his family have adapted quite well to the new lifestyle. He even previously admitted he wasn’t “worried” about the curse affecting his marriage.

Speaking to ED!, Chris revealed his family life and new Strictly life have managed to successfully merge.

He explained: “The family and Strictly are worlds that have come together. It has been okay. And we are all loving this journey as a family.”

Not just that, but it seems his wife and kids have spent some time with Nadiya, getting to know her. And even getting the chance to give dancing a try themselves.

Chris said: “The boys and Camilla have even had some dance lessons of their own from Nadiya.

“I have met some amazing new mates on the show too. They are a lovely bunch and I feel very lucky to be sharing the dance-floor with them all.”

Chris and his sons have Strictly parties

Both of Chris’ sons are still very young. But that doesn’t mean they can’t get involved in the Strictly fun. And it seems that is exactly what Chris is ensuring happens when he spends his Sundays at home.

As for what his eldest son Wilding thinks of his time on the show, Chris admitted that he is “proud” of his dad.

He said: “He is so proud of me. He loves that I get to bring home the props so we can have our Strictly Sunday morning parties together to celebrate.

“The boys are my world, and to share this experience with them, it means everything to me.”
