Strictly Come Dancing's Lacey Turner reveals huge change she's made to her wardrobe to boost her chances of winning
Lacey has been battling with infected blistersStrictly Come Dancing‘s Lacey Turner has made a big switch up to her wardrobe in a bid to boost her chances of winning.
Lacey, 38, has been really struggled with her feet since the series kicked off and even had to ditch the heels in Movie Week.
Doctors diagnosed her with infected blisters and she was seen dancing in flat-soled cowboy boots.

But the Strictly wardrobe department have made a discovery that could really help Lacey progress in the competition.
Strictly Come Dancing’s Lacey Turner reveals big wardrobe change
Lacey appeared on Strictly: It Takes Two on Wednesday evening (October 14, 2026). She appeared alongside fellow contestants John Nellis and Cach Mercer and they all chatted about what’s been going on in the rehearsal room this week.
Lacey’s big news is that the cause for her constant blisters has been revealed – it has been discovered she has wide feet. As a result, the wardrobe department has been busy changing all of her ballroom shoes.
Last weekend, Lacey managed to perform a Salsa in heeled shoes.
It Takes Two host Ellie Taylor asked Lacey: “Now, last week you said you couldn’t even walk in your heels. But you pulled off a pretty good Samba in them. You’ve got to be pretty chuffed with that?”
Lacey then revealed: “Well, I’ve got a wider shoe. Apparently I’ve got wide feet.”

What are Lacey and Vito performing in Strictly’s Icons Week?
Lacey said she found last week’s Samba difficult and “too technical”, adding that she is glad to be moving on from it.
This weekend is Icons Week – and Lacey and Vito have a corker up their sleeves. The pair will be performing an American Smooth to Adele’s Hometown Glory.
Smiling, Lacey told Ellie: “I’m really enjoying it. It’s nice to be back in hold but it’s not slow. It definitely feels different to the Samba, which is nice.”
Lacey admitted there are “lots of spins” and a “couple of lifts”, all done in her new wide shoes.
We’re looking forward to this – and are pleased Lacey finally has footwear that fits!
