WARNING: This piece contains enormous spoilers for Emmerdale today, which is already streaming on YouTube and ITVX, but hasn’t been aired on ITV1 – as the fate of Callum is revealed following yesterday’s attack by April.
The grim fate of Callum is revealed on Emmerdale today (Friday, October 31) in the aftermath of an attack which left him unconscious and unresponsive. April’s attack came as Ray and Celia forced her to meet with Callum, who she was supposed to bed.
April refused to go through with it though, and Callum tried to force himself upon her. April hit back in self-defence, whacking Callum over the head with a vodka bottle.
But is he dead? And how will Ray and Celia react to April’s latest act of rebellion?
ITVX early release reveals the aftermath of April’s attack on Callum
As the episode opens, April realises that she’s killed Callum. She informs Ray and Celia, telling them how she fought back after Callum tried to force himself on her.
Celia sends Ray over to dispose of the body. Once there, he finds Callum dead, and arranges for a man in a van to collect the corpse.
That’s Callum definitely dead. But where does this leave April? Sadly, this only gives Ray and Celia more leverage over the teenager.

Celia threatens April’s family
Understandably rattled after killing a man, April wants out. Refusing to do any more of their dirty work, she threatens to go to the police, forcing Celia to get nasty.
Celia responds with a terrifying threat. April will do as Celia tells her, or she’ll kill the three most important men in her life – Marlon, Bob and Dylan.
April is horrified as she realises how well and truly trapped she is.
