The Apprentice candidate declares 'never again' after revealing 'biggest shock' from 2026 series
"I want to correct so many narratives"
The Apprentice 2026 left one candidate “disappointed” – so they’ve taken to social media to secretly answer fans’ questions.
This year’s series of The Apprentice hasn’t gotten off to the best start. It opened with a trademark task: the scavenger hunt, only it took place all the way over in Hong Kong.
Yet, whether it’s the crop of seemingly inept candidates, Lord Sugar’s one-liners, or the quiet changes to the format (what happened to the treats?), some viewers have declared it “dead”.
Ahead of episode 4, one candidate has carried out an anonymous Reddit AMA – and they’ve revealed the “biggest shock” from their experience on the show.

The user, MoneyNail5869, avoided any hints about their identity. They declined to answer which candidates they got on best with, because it could potentially reveal who they are.
However, there are some big takeaways. For example, they said the Hong Kong task was “bad”.
“The phones they gave us were not working, there were some shops you [could] not enter,” they wrote.
Also, Levi Hague wasn’t seen much in last week’s chicken v egg task because he had food poisoning. “He wasn’t allowed near the food task,” the candidate added.
As for the removal of the winning team’s treats, they wrote: “They got rid so they would show more of the tasks.”

The Apprentice candidate reveals why they’d ‘never’ go on the show again
From the candidate’s POV, the “biggest shock” from their time on the show was “how the editing [plays out] and [favours] people to shape the finalist and how much time is spent recording 15 hours a day”.
“A lot is missed out to make it entertaining,” they wrote. “I want to correct so many narratives, the editing is funny but I can see why some people are arriving at their conclusion because of what is shown it’s just far from the truth.”
So, why would they never go on the show again? “I like being on TV but not this show, only if you win but I think they know who they want from the start already that’s when it’s beneficial,” they explained.
This particular candidate claims to have applied on a “whim”. They had hoped to get investment for their scalable – but, again, unknown – business.
The last revelation could be the most shocking, and may bolster fans’ worst fears about the show.
When asked if how the candidate felt about the other cast mates and if they were serious businesspeople and entrepreneurs, they wrote: “Yes, everyone has a business/idea.
“But some are also here purely for TV, they admitted it.”
