The Chase viewers blast Shaun Wallace as he fights 'poorly' for £100k
'Shaun would never have lived it down'The Chase returned on Monday evening (February 3), and viewers believe Shaun Wallace needs to step up his game.
Host Bradley Walsh returned and welcomed four new players — Roger from Leicester, Bryony from Sheffield, Cecelia from Essex and Chris from Bath — who all went head-to-head with Shaun, also known as The Dark Destroyer.

The Chase last night
Yesterday, Roger was the first to step up. During the cashbuilder round, he secured and played for £6k. However, his time was cut short when the Chaser beat him.
Next up was Bryony, who earned £3k. However, she opted for the lower £1k offer and made it to the next round.
Cecelia also had a successful cashbuilder round and secured and played for the £4k she earned. However, like Roger, she was caught by the Chaser and exited the game.
Chris was the final player to try make it to the Final Chase. After only answering two questions correctly, he felt brave and opted for the higher offer of £99k.
Taking a gamble, his decision paid off, and he and Bryony were the last two standing in the Final Chase.
With a whopping £100k in the prize fund, they were fighting for £50k each.
However, the pair struggled, only managing to answer 13 questions correctly. Even though they had three opportunities to push back when Shaun got a question wrong, they only managed one.
With 26 seconds left on the clock, Bryony and Chris went home empty-handed.

‘Poor from Shaun’
Despite winning the game, viewers were unimpressed with Shaun taking so long to beat them.
“Poor from Shaun. If they had just a few more, they could’ve won. He’s always been the worst Chaser. But hey, at least he won,” one user wrote on X.
“Shaun would never have lived it down if he had messed this up,” another person shared.
“Only [bleep]ing just,” a third remarked.
“Yeah Shaun is winning but he’s so slow every game,” a fourth said.
