The mum – who had recently given birth to her second baby – was sent hurtling to the ground.
Against all the odds, was alive when she landed. But as police began to investigate the terrifying incident, they unravel a tangled web of lies and betrayal.

On Easter Sunday in 2015, ambulance crews discovered the crumpled body of Victoria Cilliers lying in a field. She had plummeted 4,000ft to the ground following a failed parachute jump and she was feared dead.
The first paramedic on scene had raced towards Victoria with a body bag. But incredibly, she was still alive. She suffered spinal injuries, internal injuries, a broken pelvis and five broken ribs.
Police officers described it as a “miracle”.
It was quickly discovered by investigators that someone had deliberately tampered with Victoria’s parachute. Experts knew it could only be a fellow parachuter who had done it and the race was on to find out who was responsible.
The Fall: Skydive Murder Plot will hear from witnesses, detectives and Victoria herself. Crucially, reconstructions will show Victoria lying in a hospital bed in a neck brace as she texted her husband Emile Cilliers.
For the next three years, police delved deeper into their relationship. And more importantly, into Army sergeant Emile’s life…
They uncover secrets of an affair, an attempt to grab Victoria’s life insurance and fears from Emilie that his wife could ‘ruin his career’ in the Army.
But could Victoria’s husband really be responsible for sabotaging her parachute in order to murder her?

The mini series is made up of three very gripping 45 minute episodes, making it perfect for binging if you missed it first time around.
