The Jonathan Ross Show returns tonight (February 21) with a stellar line-up of guests including Danny and Dani Dyer.
The pair are on the ITV1 chat show to talk about their new Sky series, The Dyers’ Caravan Park, which starts on Monday (February 23).
Who is on The Jonathan Ross Show tonight?
Danny and Dani are joined by BRITs host Jack Whitehall, Sexiest Man Alive Patrick Dempsey and musician Self Esteem, who performs and regales Jonathan with tales of working alongside Madonna.
However, after seeing a preview, it’s Danny’s role on the upcoming series of Rivals that we really can’t wait to hear about.
He’s let slip fans can expect to see way more of him this time around…
Danny Dyer on Rivals S2 sex scenes
Revealing filming has recently wrapped on the second series of the Dame Jilly Cooper adaptation, Danny quips to daughter Dani: “I don’t think you’ll be able to watch much of it!”
“There was a scene on the last series… The love-making, I don’t watch. The last one there wasn’t that much,” she says.
48-year-old Danny plays Freddie Jones in the Disney+ series. And it seems Freddie definitely makes up for the lack of love scenes in series 1 with an abundance of them in season 2.
“I got away with it last time. I don’t get away with it this time,” Danny quips.
Speaking about growing up with her famous dad, 29-year-old Dani cringes when quizzed about his sex symbol status: “I remember when I first started school, everyone used to say it to me. I didn’t really know how to respond to it.”
When will Rivals return?
Disney+ has confirmed that the hit series Rivals will return for a second season on May 15. The series consists of 12 episodes, released in two batches of six.
Based on Jilly Cooper’s novel, the new series continues the intense 1980s rivalry between Rupert Campbell-Black (actor Alex Hassell) and Tony Baddingham (David Tennant).
