The Masked Singer fans think they have devised a way to work out who every single contestant is on the ITV show.

Viewers are desperate to know who is hiding behind each of the masks and claim to have come up with a hack.

The brand new series of The Masked Singer kicked off last weekend and four celebrity singer’s were unmasked across two episodes.

But there are still 10 contestants in the competition – and viewers are clambering to know who they all are.

The Masked Singer: Who’s still in?

The Masked Singer returns to ITV this weekend and half of the contestants will be performing again, although it is not known who yet.

The characters left in the competition are:

  • Toastie
  • Moth
  • Can of Worms
  • Sloth
  • Red Panda
  • Conkers
  • Arctic Fox
  • Monkey Business
  • Yak
  • Gargoyle

Four people were unmasked on the weekend. Pop star Anne Marie was unveiled as Goldfish from the band No Trout, and The One Show’s Alex Jones was revealed as Disc Jockey.

Comedian Matt Lucas turned out to be Arctic Penguin, while rapper Professor Green was hiding underneath Teabag’s mask.

The Masked Singer fan ‘hack’

Taking to Reddit, viewers have been discussing the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) to work out each of Joel Dommett’s clues.

The idea was kicked off by one person who said: “Has anyone pumped all the clues into a Chat GPT to see if it can pull all the clues together? I do know someone who works on the show, but I’d never ask him for a spoiler.

“Just wondering how good AI is at predicting from the clues.”

One fan of the show replied, saying they had already tried it. They said: “I actually used ChatGPT for Red Panda. I did spot out some important visual clues to consider.”

But others are wary.

“I imagine the AI would get it right occasionally, but it’d take the fun out of the whole concept, so… I’m not really going to be trying it,” someone else wrote.

Another person added: “Chatgpt is not going to guess niche english celebs from the 1980s, its going to guess some A lister.”

Here at TVGuide, we prefer a surprise. But maybe it is worth a go if you really are keen…

When is The Masked Singer on next?

The Masked Singer continues on Saturday January 10, 2026. Unlike the launch, there is only one show on this weekend.

Saturday night’s programme is Sports Day-themed and it starts at 7pm on ITV1. It will run until 8.30pm and is also available to stream on ITVX.

The judges – Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross – will be joined on the panel by cricket legend, Freddie Flintoff.

A preview clip on the Masked Singer’s Instagram account sees Freddie telling Toastie: “I really enjoyed that but it was slightly terrifying at the same time.”

And that’s why we love it, Freddie!
