The Masked Singer's Red Panda finally makes debut and viewers think they know who it is
Fans have been waiting three weeks to watch the contestant singThe Masked Singer‘s Red Panda has finally made his debut – and viewers are desperately trying to work out who it is.
Red Panda took to the stage in tonight’s Spooktacular Special (yes, we know it is January) and sang to the nation for the first time.
The singer had been due to appear in the first episode of the series two weeks ago but was cut from the final edit.

But Red Panda has now shown off their voice for the first time and has left viewers furiously guessing.
The Masked Singer: Red Panda’s first performance
Red Panda had recorded a performance for the launch weekend of the 2026 series but it was edited out before being aired.
The contestant had sung the 1976 hit Disco Inferno, but it was axed from the show. Bosses feared it would deemed ‘insensitive’ in the aftermath of the Crans-Montana ski resort fire in Switzerland. Forty people lost their lives in the tragedy.
Tonight, Red Panda sang first in a group performance. Together with Can of Worms, Moth, Sloth and Gargoyle, he joined in with their take on The Backstreet Boys’ Larger Than Life.
Red Panda then took to the stage again later in the show for his solo. He performed Bat Out Of Hell by Meatloaf and his vocals were very deep… until they went high!
Who is Red Panda?
Judges Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan – joined by guest judge Ben Shephard – all gave good(ish) guesses on who Red Panda is.
Jonathan thinks it is Simon Le Bon, while Davina believes it is Luke Goss. Maya suggested Jeff Brazier and Mo said Louis Smith. This Morning star Ben, meanwhile, plumped for Alan Carr.
Fans been sharing their thoughts online, too. And comedian Harry Hill keeps cropping up.
One viewer wrote on X: “Harry Hill for Panda.” Another added: “Harry Hill is regularly guessed on this show but Red Panda sounds like him.”
A third claimed: “Harry HIll is Red Panda” And someone else penned: “This is the first time I’ve watched Masked Singer and put it on as Red Panda started. Sounds like Harry Hill tbh.”
Intersting!

Who has already left The Masked Singer?
Three contestants and two further celebrities have already been unmasked in this year’s Masked Singer. Disc Jockey was first to go. She was unmasked as The One Show’s Alex Jones.
Next to leave was Teabag, who turned out to be raper Professor Green. Last week, Yak was sent home. Hiding under the extremely heavy costume was John ‘Johnny Rotten’ Lydon.
The series has also seen pop singer Anne-Marie make an appearance as Goldfish in the band No Trout, and Emperor Penguin from the Antarctic Funkeys – aka comedian Matt Lucas.
