The Masked Singer viewers 'figure out' Toastie as Loose Women star
Do you agree?The Masked Singer is back in full swing, and viewers believe they’ve figured out the identity of Toastie.
On January 3, the hit ITV show returned for Series 7, where new contestants performed.
So far, the likes of Professor Green, Marcella Detroit, Anton Du Beke and Kate Nash have been unmasked.
However, with now just six contestants remaining, the panel and viewers still have a lot of detective work to do. And for Toastie, it seems fans might have already figured them out…
Toastie on The Masked Singer
Each time Toastie takes to the stage, they continue to prove they are a powerhouse vocalist with pipes.
In their first clue package, Toastie said they don’t quit under pressure and hinted they have had to deal with criticism.
Elsewhere in their VT, a diamond and a clown were shown, as well as a calendar where balloons were marked on August 20. Toastie said they were a “rebel with a cause,” which hinted at charity work.
Toastie also mentioned wanting a “slice of the action”.
During their second appearance, they said: “You might think I’ve got more front than Blackpool, but it’s time to change this narrative. Reckon you’ve got this Toastie wrapped up? I’m not ready to be typecast. Rough and ready, I may be, but I’m the real thing, and I can even hold my own with royalty.”
Last weekend, Toastie shared a little more about their identity, expressing: “A really good Toastie uses Extra-Strong Cheddar, the sort that puts hairs on your chest, turns Boys to Men.”
“You’ll need an ace detective to solve this one. If you need backup, I’ve got you covered, but I’m not giving you the solution, matey. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Not that I’ve ever taken any notice of that. Lucky I’m not burnt toast,” they continued.
The panel shared various guesses over the past few weeks for Toastie, ranging from former X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and BRIT Award winner Emeli Sande.
However, according to viewers, they have someone else in mind…
‘If it’s not Brenda Edwards, I’ll eat a toastie’
“My guess for Toastie is Brenda Edwards,” one user wrote on X.
“I’m going with Brenda Edwards for Toastie,” another person shared.
“If it’s not Brenda Edwards, I’ll eat a toastie,” a third joked.
“Toastie is a REAL singer! “Faced stern critics” – #XFactor? How about Brenda Edwards? Loved that performance,” a fourth said.
“Calling it now, Toastie is Brenda Edwards,” a fifth person insisted.
As Toastie’s identity still remains a secret, viewers will have to keep watching to see if they are correct.
