Every single theory on The Masked Singer's Can of Worms as fans convinced it's a JLS legend
The green fingers gave it away!
The Masked Singer returns tonight (January 17), with Can of Worms taking to the ITV stage – but do you know who’s behind the mask?
These fans reckon they’ve cracked it!

All the clues for Can of Worms so far
Can of Worms performed on Week 1 of the current series of The Masked Singer. He performed Be Our Guest from the film Beauty and the Beast.
His clue package included references to him having green fingers, growing beautiful things and also featured a framed picture of James May and Richard Hammond.
“Here’s my patch, isn’t it rad? All of these beautiful things I’ve grown. As a worm, I have green fingers. It runs in the family, like it was written in the stars,” he said.
After his performance, which included a rap, Maya Jama declared: “The character raps, and I was so impressed by the timekeeping of all the rapping ability of a massive can of worms! They don’t miss a beat!”
So could Can of Worms be someone who can rap? And who do the rest of the clues point to? A lot of Masked Singer fans reckon Marvin Humes is beneath the mask…

Is Marvin Humes Can of Worms?
“Can of Worms has got to be Marvin Humes,” said one. “Can of Worms is Marvin Humes,” said a second. “I think Can of Worms sounds like Marvin Humes,” a third then commented.
Another also shed some more light on a couple of the clues. “Can of Worms has got be Marvin Humes. He was green in JLS. May and Hammond picture = MH,” they said.
Clues explained
As JLS fans will know, each member of the boy band had a specific colour they were associated with. They each used to wear clothing in their colour, and the condom range the boys brought out even came in the four different box colours, with their faces on the front. Marvin’s colour was green – hence the nod to him having green fingers.
As the very observant Masked Singer fan worked out, the picture of the Top Gear stars could indeed point to Marvin’s initials.
Marvin has also grown “beautiful things”, much like Can of Worms. He shares three beautiful children with wife Rochelle Humes. And you could also say that her being in the spotlight as a singer and TV presenter could also relate to the ‘running in the family’ clue from Can of Worms.

Ben Shephard ruled out
Another popular guess is Ben Shephard, doubtless from a clue that appeared to hint at a job on morning telly.
“Can of Worms – Ben Shephard,” said one.
However, as Can of Worms performs this weekend, and Ben Shephard is joining the judging panel, we reckon it’s safe to safe it’s not him.
Our money’s on Marvin!
