The Traitors series 4 is well underway, but is that really Matthew or Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe we’ve seen wandering the corridors of Ardross Castle?

From A-list TV drama stars to unlikely animated icons, fans have been quick to spot uncanny resemblances among this year’s cast. And as social media fills up with side-by-side comparisons, the lookalike chatter has become almost as entertaining as the roundtable itself.

So, in true Traitors fashion, let’s take a closer look at the contestants who have viewers doing double takes, and the famous faces they’ve been compared to.

The Traitors lookalikes: James compared to David Tennant

A total of 22 new contestants arrived at Ardross Castle on New Year’s Day, all hoping to outwit, outplay and outlast their fellow players to win up to £120,000. But for some viewers, one face in particular looked immediately familiar.

James, a 38-year-old gardener from Weymouth, quickly caught attention thanks to his striking resemblance to Doctor Who icon David Tennant. With his floppy hair, sharp features and unmistakable sideburns, fans couldn’t help making the comparison.

“That James looks like David Tennant,” one viewer tweeted.

“Anyone else thinks he looks a bit like David Tennant?” another asked.

“James looks so like David Tennant,” a third agreed.

Sam dubbed Ed Gamble and Jonathan Bailey’s ‘love child’

Elsewhere, Sam’s appearance has sparked plenty of debate, with many viewers convinced they’ve seen him somewhere before.

Some immediately drew parallels between Sam and Uncloaked host Ed Gamble. “This is literally Ed Gamble??” one fan joked, sharing a promotional image of Sam smirking at the camera.

“I’m a fantastic liar. Well clearly, because your name isn’t even Sam! It’s Ed Gamble,” another quipped, adding they couldn’t wait to see the pair in the same room.

Others went one step further, suggesting Sam looks like a hybrid of Ed Gamble and Bridgerton and Wicked star Jonathan Bailey.

“Can’t believe they managed to get Jonathan Bailey on #TheTraitors,” one viewer joked.

“Am I the only person that thinks Sam on #TheTraitors looks like the lovechild of Ed Gamble and Jonathan Bailey?” another asked.

Amanda compared to Line of Duty’s Ted Hastings

Amanda’s presence in the castle has also sparked some inspired comparisons, particularly among fans of gritty BBC dramas.

Several viewers believe the retired police detective bears more than a passing resemblance to Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar and his iconic character Ted Hastings.

“I’m sure Amanda the retired police detective in this year’s #TheTraitorsUK is in fact the sister of Ted Hastings from #LineOfDuty,” one fan joked.

“There’s only one thing that matters and that’s catching bent Traitors,” another added, paraphrasing a famous line from the show.

“Keeping Hastings busy in the Traitors castle until Line of Duty starts filming again,” a third quipped.

“Are we sure Amanda hasn’t been in Line of Duty or Happy Valley?!” another asked.

“She literally feels like a corrupt police officer from Line of Duty. Where is AC-12?” one viewer added.

Another fan even suggested they’d never seen Amanda and Christian Horner in the same room.

Roxy likened to Chicken Run’s Ginger

One of the more unexpected comparisons doing the rounds links Roxy to Ginger from the animated classic Chicken Run.

As the determined leader of the flock, Ginger’s green bobble hat and main-character energy clearly struck a chord with viewers watching Roxy take charge in the castle.

“Roxy is serving Ginger vibes!” one fan declared.

“Is Roxy in #Traitors one of the chickens in Chicken Run?” another joked.
