The Traitors‘ Rachel Duffy has spoken out after her epic row with Fiona Hughes.

Ardross Castle descended into chaos last night and Rachel and Fiona were at the centre of it.

Despite both being Traitors, Fiona left viewers stunned by turning on Rachel in front of everyone.

The 62-year-old told the shocked group that she thinks Rachel, 42, is a Traitor.

The scenes were sparked by Amanda’s banishment from the castle just a short while earlier.

Before she left, Amanda had confided in Rachel that she is a former detective for the Met Police.

Rachel decided to tell everyone this to help both her own cause as a Traitor, and to explain her pal’s behaviour to the rest of the contestants.

But Fiona was furious with Rachel over her revelation and even accused her of making the entire thing up.

The Traitors’ Rachel reacts to Fiona row

Rachel has now broken her silence after last night’s episode, which has been branded the most dramatic in UK Traitors history.

Taking to Instagram, Rachel has shared a meme of the moment she, Fiona and Stephen met at the Traitors Turret following the showdown.

It contains a screen shot of the steely look she shot in Fiona’s direction after removing the hood of her cloak.

The caption reads: “The wait til I get you home face yer ma used to pull.”

Rachel shared a purple devil emoji alongside her post. She wrote: “No words needed.”

The mum-of-three has also shared a photograph to her Instagram Stories that was taken in the gym.

Rachel is wearing boxing gloves and is standing alongside her coach.

She rather tellingly captioned it: “Getting rid of some pent up frustration.”

Fiona names Rachel as a Traitor

Fans of The Traitors were left on the edge of their sofas last night as the tension reached fever pitch in Ardross Castle.

Rachel had been left in tears following her close friend Amanda’s banishment but decided to tell everyone about the former detective’s profession.

Fiona was seething by her decision, telling the diary room camera: “I’m not sure what narrative Rach is pedalling.

“I think Rachel is lying about Amanda, she is gleefully telling people, she is playing a blinder and I don’t believe it.”

Fiona then pulled Rachel into the library and confronted her. She told her fellow Traitor: “I’m really suspicious of you.

“I question why she [Amanda] would have told you, knowing all my background. Half my family are coppers and she knew that and she knew I’d worked for the police.”

Fiona again accused Rachel of being “gleeful” over the admission.

‘Are you fibbing?’

Rachel was stunned and told Fiona: “I can’t control what people tell me. She sought me out to tell me and  think it’s because she trusted me. You cant question her judgement thats up to her.”

Fiona then asked Rachel if she was “fibbing”.

Rachel denied lying and ended the conversation by walking away. But it all kicked off again in the kitchen.

Commanding the room, Fiona said: “I believe Rachel is a Traitor and I believe Amanda did not confide in Rachel.”

Everyone’s jaws dropped to the floor. Fiona and Rachel’s fellow Traitor, Stephen Libby, walked out of the room, shaking.

The explosive episode ended on a cliffhanger with the trio meeting in the Traitors’ Turret.

Rachel glared at Fiona as she looked back at her. Stephen was staring wide-eyed at them both.

Only time will tell how this one plays out, but we are gripped!

You can catch the fall out from Rachel and Fiona’s showdown tonight at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
