The Traitors' Rachel Duffy forced to remind BBC viewers 'it's a game' after falling victim to trolls
Rachel has received a message of support from a very famous faceTraitors star Rachel Duffy has been forced to remind viewers that the show is just “just a game” after receiving nasty messages online.
Rachel has spoken out after trolls watching the BBC series turned on her, leaving her “stressed”.
The mum-of-three, 42, is currently one of two Traitors in the show after Fiona Hughes was banished last week.

Rachel and Stephen Libby are currently the only ones plotting who to bump off next in the series.
But it appears some fans have taken the murder mystery theme far too seriously.
The Traitors’ Rachel speaks out after trolling
Rachel issued her message to viewers in an Instagram video. She admitted she is getting “grey hairs” watching the show, which was recorded last summer.
She said: “So I have more grey hairs in the last two weeks that I’ve had in the whole of the last 12 months. It just goes to show you that it’s been crazy, it’s been fun, it’s been stressful. But I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been in touch.
“I signed up to this to have a little bit of fun and that’s exactly what it should be. I’m getting lots of support from far and near.”
But Rachel added: “A little reminder to anybody who might have forgotten that this is a game. This is a game where 22 people, very different and wonderful people, signed up to be lied to and to be deceived.
“As my mum would say, ‘If you have nothing nice to say then….'”
Rachel’s message has since been shared by former Traitors star Diane Carson. Diane is originally from Northern Ireland and she appeared in series 2 in 2024.
While on the show, Diane revealed a secret relationship with fellow player Ross – her son. Diane has reposted Rachel’s message on her own Instagram account and also warned people to “be kind”.
She said: “A timely reminder and wise words. It’s just a game. BE KIND.”
Diane added: “Also, woe betide anyone who takes on an Irish woman, eh @Rachel.dufffy. G’wan ye good woman.”

Alison Hammond backs Rachel
Along with Diane’s response, Rachel’s video message has been met with a flurry of support with fans rallying behind her.
One person told Rachel: “You’re killing it – whingers and going to whinge! It’s a game and you’re playing a blinder!”
Another added: “Your a great girl Rachel your family and friends know your a superstar and thats all that matters!”
And a third said: “Oh absolutely agree…I wanna shout at the haters lol but then I have to remember it’s a game and you will never see them lol…just block block block the looney bins.”
Rachel has also received a positive message from a very famous face, too. And it has given her a nice surprise!
This Morning’s Alison Hammond commented on Rachel’s video message with a ‘fire’ emoji, adding: “Wow you are good.”
Replying, Rachel said: “Holy crap Alison you nearly gave me a heart attack commenting on my video thank you!”
We bet that lifted her spirits!
