So many connections this yearThe Traitors star Ross has revealed exactly how he and fellow contestant Netty know each other after all the confusion.
It may have only been on for a few episodes, but the hit BBC show is already getting everyone talking. And this year, a lot of conversation is about the potential connections between contestants.
In episode one, contestants Ross and Netty confirmed they had met before. But it seems Ross wanted to make it clear just how far their connection goes.
How do Ross and Netty know each other on The Traitors?
When Ross and Netty came face-to-face in the castle, they admitted they met through a mutual friend in London.
Netty was soon murdered by the traitors, which led to Ross admitting he was actually going to pretend he didn’t even know her. And that only made people suspect he was hiding more.
But now that he’s on the outside world again, Ross has taken to social media to share the whole truth on his relationship with Netty.
Speaking on a TikTok, Ross explained that he wanted to “clean this up”.
He said: “So, let’s just clean this up and get this out of the way. Basically Netty and I know each other from a mutual friend called Dan. Dan is actually a photographer, I’ll send his Instagram up so you got it there.
“Basically, he used to go to Bradford basketball tournament, and that’s how they met. So, I have seen Netty a few times, went out and about in London.”
Ross then went on to explain how his friend actually fancied Netty, and so the pair spoke some more.
“On a separate occasion, maybe like a year or so, a couple of times later – because I seen her out a few times – I’m out with another friend. I won’t bait him out on the internet.
“But he’s like ‘Oh, see that girl, I kind of like her’ and when I asked which one, he pointed at Netty.”
After that, Ross approached Netty for his friend, but revealed things didn’t work out between them.
He concluded: “That’s your lot. All of it. There’s nothing else. Voila!”
Does Ross know anyone else on the show?
Ross was quick to clear up his and Netty’s background. But he hasn’t spoken about his potential connection to contestant Ellie.
Fans were quick to notice the pair posted very similar pictures from a holiday on Instagram.
But things were sent into overdrive when an unearthed photo came to light of them side-by-side with a large group. It’s believed the photo was taken in 2024 as part of a team outing for Damo’s Personal Trainers.
In the picture, Ross appears to have his arm placed around Ellie’s waist. But shockingly, neither have spoken about knowing each other.
