The Traitors viewers ‘desperate’ to know the meaning behind the ‘Who’s Who Book’ as they predict huge twist

There’s always secrets hidden within the castle, and eagle-eyed viewers usually pick up on every small detail.
But this year, there has been quite a focus on the books in the library. And many fans can’t help but notice that one specific book keeps coming into view.
The Traitors book spotted by fans
In this series, the book, Who’s Who 1934, keeps making an appearance. If it had’ve been once or twice, fans would have just brushed it off. But now that it’s happened in quite a few episodes, many are left wondering if it has a bigger role to play.
Taking to X, fans shared how much they are invested in working out what it means.
One said: “I need to know what this book is going to do to this series immediately.”
“Why do they keep showing this one specific book?” another asked.
Another noticed: “They have shown that ‘Who’s Who’ book three times in passing now. Is it another hint for a potential twist down the line?”
Viewers originally thought it would be connected to the Secret Traitor twist. However, we now know that isn’t the case as it was revealed to be Fiona.
However, many fans believe it points to another long-standing theory – that everyone in the show is connected.
What could it mean?
Taking to a Reddit thread to discuss what exactly the book could mean, one fan went as far as researching if it’s an actual book. And what the contents include.
They posted: “The Who’s Who in 1934 includes an author who wrote a book called The Traitors. Am I over-thinking this? Is it a clue to something?”
Another agreed: “I have been looking up this exact thing. They highlighted this same book in the first two episodes also. I feel like that can’t be a coincidence. But I’m not sure what it means yet.”
A third theorised: “I think it’s going to be part of a murder in plain sight. Not entirely sure how though.”
However, others believe the contents will actually include how every contestant this year has an off-screen connection. So far, quite a few have been confirmed, with many others being rumoured.
One suggested: “Since it’s a Who’s Who, do we think it has the relationships and more information about the contestants in it?”
“I bet if you open it, it will show who everyone in the game really is and how they know each other in real life” another wrote on X.
However another fan thinks it’s simply about who is a Traitor and who is a Faithful.
They penned: “I think we are all too fixated on this book showing all of the connections between players. It’s probably way more simple than that. It probably has a guide to all the players like ‘Who’s a Traitor, Who’s a Faithful’.”
While it remains to be seen if it will come into play at any point, it would definitely be interesting…
