Michael McIntyre's The Wheel on BBC One: Latest celebrity cast includes faces from Strictly Come Dancing and Top Gear
Prepare for a real spread of speciality topics
Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel series 6 continues with its second episode on BBC One this weekend, with faces from the worlds of Strictly Come Dancing and Top Gear in its celebrity cast.
Hosted by comedian Michael McIntyre, the gameshow gives three members of the public the chance to win big money. They have eight celebrity contestants on hand to aid them, who each choose one topic to specialise in. Even just one incorrect answer kicks them out of the game.
So which famous folk have we got on The Wheel this time around?

The Wheel celebrity cast includes Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas
This second episode of the sixth series welcomes eight celebrities as experts in particular fields. They’re all familiar to TV lovers, whether it’s from the comedy genre, reality shows, or road-ripping classics.
First up is Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, who can also be seen donning a Halloween costume in the ballroom this weekend.
Former Top Gear co-presenter Chris Harris will be spinning around The Wheel too. Surely his offered expertise is motoring?
Funny people Josh Widdicombe and Harriet Kemsley are the third and fourth names in the line-up. Harriet made waves on LOL: Last One Laughing UK earlier this year, while Josh won the very first series of Taskmaster a decade ago.
Then there’s Olympic silver medalist Colin Jackson, who performed in the 110 metres hurdles for Great Britain and Wales across his career.
Frankie Bridge of The Saturdays fame will be knowledgable when it comes to music questions no doubt. In 2021, she finished third as a campmate on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
On this week’s double chair are radio jockey Jordan North and renowned etiquette coach William Hanson. The latter recently cameoed on Strictly to teach contestant Karen Carney how to drink a cup of tea properly during one of her pre-dance VTs.

Who appeared in last week’s episode?
Last week’s opening episode of the series featured Celebrity Race Across the World star Roman Kemp in its line-up.
Best known as one of the many hosts of The One Show, he appeared alongside comedian Katherine Ryan and ex-football pro Jill Scott.
Joe Marler, who’s officially in next week’s Celebrity Traitors final, turned up with a speciality subject too. Enola Holmes actress Susan Wokoma was also invited to take part as well as Strictly alumnus Layton Williams.
The League of Gentlemen and Inside No. 9 masterminds Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton rounded off this premium group in the double chair.
What time does Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel start?
BBC One’s family gameshow The Wheel is scheduled to air on Saturday, November 01, at 8.20pm.
The episode lasts for one hour and will be available to stream via BBC iPlayer afterwards.
