Traitors star Adam Waughman brought some light relief to last night’s explosive show with a very funny moment – but did you see it?

The Faithful has stayed relatively under the radar since the series began but one ‘blink-and-you’ll-miss-it’ moment left eagle-eyed fans in stitches.

Observant fans caught sight of Adam as the show was winding down for the evening and they “lost it” laughing.

Viewers had already been left on the edge of their seats with all the drama between Rachel Duffy and Harriet Tyce.

And then Adam came along to turn their frowns upside down.

Adam’s funny moment aired as Traitors Rachel and Stephen discussed in the Turret who they want to murder next.

The pair had been asked by Claudia Winkleman if they wanted to murder or seduce. They opted to kill next.

Adam’s name was then brought up, with Stephen saying: “Adam at the moment, who did he vote for tonight?” Rachel replied: “Matt.”

Stephen continued: “If we went for Adam, it implicates Matt.” Rachel said: “It also takes someone out of the game that I can read.”

But while this serious discussion was taking place, Adam was shown walking through Ardross Castle doing something bonkers.

In dim light, he slowly edged along a hallway while holding Dowsing Rods out in front of him.

Adam is a keen ghost hunter in his spare time – and viewers can’t believe he packed his paranormal equipment.

Writing on X, one bemused viewer said: “[Bleep] off did Adam bring his ghost hunting equipment with him?!” Another added: “Guys I lost it when it cut to Adam doing this.”

A third wrote: “So did we all miss Adam just casually hunting for ghost in his room?” And a fourth chimed in: “lol that shot of Adam ghost hunting.”

Someone else even wrote: “Producers decided there wasn’t enough chaos in that episode so just threw in Adam with THAT THING at the end.”

Traitors Adam: the ghost hunter

Adam has previously spoken about his desire to find out if Ardross Castle has ghosts within its walls.

“I’m an enthusiastic ghost hunter so I’d love to get into that castle and see if it’s haunted,” he said.

The builder is a member of the group Paranormal Essex. Together with his pals, they live-stream ghost hunts in abandoned farm houses, chapels and other disused buildings.

In one recent Instagram post, Adam says he is keen to see if Claudia will join him in a video about the Traitors castle.

He says: “So now I can tell you, one of the reasons why I went to the castle was to find out if it is haunted. I’d read so many stories and was eager to get in there. And I may or may not know whether it’s haunted or not.

“I’m hoping that Claudia joins me to investigate the Traitors castle.”

Adam captioned his post: “Let’s find out if it’s haunted, @claudiawinkle the queen of darkness should be there.”

Claudia has not responded to Adam’s request. But one follower wrote: “I see a docuseries on the horizon.”

Err…maybe. Maybe not.
