The Traitors viewers relieved as Amanda is banished at the round table
'This is the best episode ever'The Traitors tonight (January 8) saw Faithful Amanda be voted off at the round table, leaving viewers happy with the outcome.
At the beginning of Thursday night’s episode, Maz was murdered in plain sight by the three Traitors — Stephen, Rachel and Fiona.
However, things took a dramatic turn during the second half…

When it came down to voting at the round table, there was a tie between Reece and Amanda. Therefore, everyone was forced to vote again.
When everyone voted again, there was another tie, with each of them receiving 7 votes.
As a result, they had to leave it to “fate”, where they had each pick a chest. Whichever chest had a shield inside meant that they were safe.
And unfortunately for Amanda, hers was empty, meaning Reece was safe for another episode. Revealing to the group that she was a Faithful, the remaining Faithfuls were disappointed they had banished another one of their own.

Gripped viewers appeared not too mad by the result, insisting that Amanda wasn’t very good at the game.
“Amanda is going home, serves her right for picking on Jade from day one,” one user wrote on X.
“Amanda is so bad at #TheTraitorsUK game. She has been fixated with Jade being a Traitor that she missed all the clues and did not look towards anyone else. I wonder how she was as a detective,” another person shared.
“Amanda [bleep]ed herself over. She was too obsessed with Jade in each roundtable & wouldn’t let go of her. Despite no one else targeting her. If she voted Stephen/Reece, she would be still here,” a third remarked.
“THANK GOD AMANDA IS GONE,” a fourth declared.
