Traitors viewers 'concerned' for Reece amid fears he is running out of time on show
Reece broke down in tearsThe Traitors viewers have been taking to social media to share their concerns for Faithful Reece.
It’s been a tough few days for Reece, as he has found himself under quite a lot of suspicion. And while his own actions haven’t been helping that much, a lot of fans are starting to worry about him.
During Thursday’s episode, which was deemed the “best ever” which saw viewers perform a U-turn on Fiona, Reece got quite emotional at the roundtable.
Reece broke down in tears
Last night, Reece was once again under suspicion for being a Traitor, with many wondering why he has been acting so shifty.
In the challenge the day prior, Reece gave some of his own stones to other contestants, which ultimately made him face murder. Then in the mission yesterday, he put himself up for murder instead of choosing someone else.
By doing all of this, many other Faithfuls started to wonder if he knew he would be saved – because they suspect he is a Traitor.
Obviously, viewers know that isn’t the case. In reality, the Traitors are Rachel, Fiona and Stephen. So many couldn’t work out why Reece wouldn’t defend himself.
However, at the roundtable, he admitted that he just feels like nobody wants to believe him. And that at this point, there’s nothing he can do to change people’s minds.
It came down to just him and Amanda as a tie. But after another vote, Amanda was ultimately banished, causing Reece to break down in tears.
The Traitors fans share their concerns
The emotional scenes left viewers at home heartbroken for him. Many worried that he isn’t going to be in the show for much longer. And while some were upset about that, others thought it might be for the best as he seemed to get really upset.
Taking to social media, one viewer wrote: “Reece is breaking my heart. He is so sweet and clearly wears his heart on his sleeve.”
Another agreed: “Being a Reece fan is so hard because it feels like a rollercoaster of emotions every episode. He is such a vulnerable and sweet person. I am rooting hard for him.”
“I love Reece and I hope he wins” a third penned. While a fourth admitted: “I really don’t understand all of the suspicion on Reece.”
However, one viewer felt like the whole thing might be too much on him.
They wrote: “No. Reece needs to go. Both for the sake of his own mental health and for the show. I think this might have been the wrong gig for him.”
