'Justice for Reece'Traitors viewers were left unhappy after Faithful Reece was murdered at the beginning of tonight’s (January 9) show.
Friday’s episode picked up from the previous night, shortly after Traitor Fiona went on the offensive, openly accusing fellow Traitor Rachel in front of the entire group.
The situation occurred after Rachel told the group that Amanda, who was banished at the round table, had privately informed her that she was a retired police detective.
Fiona accused Fiona of lying, insisting Amanda never told her that. “I think you have done this for your own benefit,” Fiona declared, stating that she didn’t believe Rachel, “Not for one minute!”

When they reunited in the turret, the pair confronted each other about the situation. Despite admitting they no longer saw eye to eye as Traitors, they — alongside Stephen — still had to decide on a murder that evening.
Admitting that many didn’t suspect him to be a Traitor, the group settled on getting rid of Reece, who had survived several murders in this series.
The following morning, Reece did not return to breakfast, revealing their joint decision.
Viewers were immediately unimpressed with their choice and took to social media to rant.

“They killed Reece…. omg I hate them,” one user wrote on X.
“That was the dumbest murder ever,” another person shared.
“It’s depressing they murdered Reece, like damn,” a third remarked.
“Poor Reece didn’t catch a break,” a fourth said.
“Justice for Reece,” a fifth person expressed.
“Getting rid of Reece makes no sense. THIS IS THE TRAITORS!! Easy mercy killings isn’t what we want!! Take risks, take out big players, do the game properly!! Worst traitors ever!!” a sixth said.
Meanwhile, another echoed: “I’m [bleep]ing fuming they’ve killed Reece off.”
However, in another turn of events, Fiona became the latest contestant banished from the round table.
