Which Harlan Coben series are on Netflix?

There is no shortage of Harlan Coben shows on Netflix.

The author has a major, multi-year deal with the streaming giant. He originally signed it in 2018 and has since extended it. The deal is to adapt his best-selling novels into TV shows, along with future books that he has yet to write.

Coben also works as the Executive Producer on all the projects, overseeing each series as it moves from the pages of his books to our TV screens.

Fool Me Once, Missing You, Stay Close, and The Stranger are all available to watch on Netflix now. Producers have also adapted Safe, Just One Look, Gone For Good, Hold Tight, Innocent, The Woods and Caught for the small screen.

Where else can you watch Harlan Coben shows?

Netflix isn’t the only place you can watch one of Harlan Coben’s TV series. You can also stream on Prime Video, where you will find the young adult thriller, Shelter, and the more recent addition, Lazarus.

Lazarus was the first collaboration between Coben and Danny Brocklehurst (of Shameless and Brassic fame), which wasn’t adapted from a previously written novel. Instead, the duo co-created the series, which has earned rave reviews.

The series follows forensic psychiatrist Joel Lazarus, who returns home after his father’s death. But he is plagued by disturbing experiences that can’t be explained, and he quickly becomes entangled in a series of cold-case murders.

What is the next Harlan Coben book coming to Netflix?

Netflix has already announced the next series. I Will Find You is now in production and will land on the streamer in 2026.

The story follows an innocent father who is serving life in prison for the murder of his own son. But then he receives evidence that his child may still be alive, and it turns his world upside down.

The eight-episode series will be the first US-set adaptation of a book by Coben under his exclusive Netflix deal. Despite the fact that most of the author’s novels are set in his native USA, they are usually relocated to the UK when they are adapted for the small screen.

What is Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You about?

The synopsis for the book, which the TV series will closely follow, says: “David and Cheryl are living the dream, married with a beautiful house in the suburbs and a three-year-old son called Matthew.

“But tragedy strikes one night in the worst possible way. David wakes to find himself covered in blood, but not his own – his son’s. And while he knows he did not murder his son, the overwhelming evidence against him puts him behind bars indefinitely.

“Five years into his time in prison, Cheryl’s sister arrives and drops a bombshell. She has a photograph that a friend took on a vacation at a theme park. The boy in the background seems familiar, and even though David realises it can’t be, he knows it is. It’s Matthew, and he is still alive.

“David plans a harrowing escape from prison, determined to do what seems impossible – save his son, clear his own name and discover the real story of what happened that devastating night.”
