Why Gordon Ramsay's children Megan and Jack don't appear in his Netflix documentary and their very ordinary jobs revealed

The TV chef has fronted a six-part series for the streaming giant and it shows him both at work and at home.
Viewers are given a look at how he juggles family life while launching his biggest venture yet, a five-restaurant complex in London’s 22 Bishopsgate.
But fans will quickly notice that two of his brood are missing from Being Gordon Ramsay.
Gordon’s wife Tana features heavily throughout, along with their daughter Holly and her now-husband, Adam Peaty, and daughter Tilly.
Their youngest two children, Oscar and baby Jesse, also appear in the mini-series.
Earlier this week, Holly and Adam joined Gordon and Tana on the red carpet at the official premiere of Being Gordon Ramsay. So where are Megan and Jack and why aren’t they in the Netflix show? We’ve done some digging…
Why aren’t Gordon Ramsay’s kids Megan and Jack in his show?
Megan is Gordon and Tana’s eldest daughter. She was born in May 1998, which makes her 28 years old.
Jack, meanwhile, came along next with his twin sister Holly. They arrived late the following year and are both 26 years old. But only Holly appears in Being Gordon Ramsay.
Tilly, their next child, is in the show throughout. The cameras follow her to her new job, working as a chef in a restaurant in Cornwall.
Holly’s engagement to Olympic swimmer Adam is also a main storyline running throughout the documentary series, while Tana is shown at home with Oscar and Jesse as she holds down the fort while Gordon is away.
So where are Megan and Jack?
Well, it appears the siblings have decided to shun the Netflix series in their bid to keep out of the spotlight.
Both Megan and Jack previously appeared in sister Tilly’s own CBBC reality series, Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch in 2015 to 2019. But they have since bowed out of showbiz life for normal jobs.
Where is Megan Ramsay now?
Megan has disappeared from social media having previously had an online presence. In 2022, Tana took to Instagram to wish her eldest daughter a happy birthday.
She wrote at the time: “HAPPY 24th BIRTHDAY MEGGIE!!! Hurry home now you have been away too long and we miss you!”
But although Tana tagged her daughter into the message, Megan’s profile has since been deleted. Fans trying to access it today with be met with the message: “Profile isn’t available. The link may be broken, or the profile may have been removed.”
After completing her degree at Oxford Brookes University, Megan briefly pursued a career in film. But not as an actress. Megan has several credits as a production designer and art director on IMDB.
In 2016, she was listed as art director and assistant art director on the short film, Shameless.
Gordon has now confirmed Megan is working as a police officer, so is keeping away from the limelight for “security”. He told Food Bible: “Meg’s a police officer, so just out of security for her, that’s crucial.”
Her job aside, Megan is regarded as the most private member of the Ramsay family.
Where is Jack Ramsay?
Jack Ramsay has also deleted his public Instagram profile in recent years, just like sister Megan. The link now also directs fans to the same message as hers.
In December 2025, Gordon publicly wished Jack and Holly a happy birthday on Instagram. But he only tagged Holly into the message and chose to share childhood photos, rather than up-to-date pictures of his twins.
Jack also prefers the quiet life, following his brush with fame in Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch. He also appeared in the 2019 show Born Famous and guest starred alongside his dad in Hell’s Kitchen.

But these days, Jack has a very normal job that is worlds away from showbiz life.
In October 2020, Gordon confirmed that his eldest son had joined the Royal Marines. The chef shared the news alongside several pictures of Jack in uniform at his Passing Out parade.
Gordon said at the time: “Can’t tell you enough how proud I am of this young man. Jack Ramsay, you’ve made me feel like the proudest father today. Congrats on joining @royalmarines. What amazing achievement.”
Gordon and Tana on their kids growing up in the spotlight
Both Gordon and Tana reflect on their children’s very young taste of fame in Being Gordon Ramsay. And, although, Megan and Jack have now opted for a private life away from cameras, they have no regrets.
Tana says in the Netflix show: “You could argue why didn’t you keep your kids out of the spotlight? We were proud to be young parents and for them to be on this journey with us.
“We made the decision as opposed to it being a totally separate life, we involved them. And I’m really glad we did.”
Gordon added: “I understand their nervousness when we’re on a red carpet in the US and they’d be squeezing my hand like mad and photographers were shouting, ‘Look this way look this way!’
“And Holly’s hand would be tight and Jack would not let me go and Meg would be hiding behind Tana. We could sense that early on and it’s heartbreaking because we’re work.
“They were clinging on, it was hard for them to accept that. So, the fame game, I just say, ‘No. We’re not famous, we just work hard’. ”
