Why Spencer Matthews didn't meet wife Vogue Williams on the I'm A Celebrity bridge
Spencer is busy fulfilling his own huge challengeI’m A Celebrity campmate Vogue Williams became the third star voted out of the ITV jungle last night (December 1) – but her husband Spencer Matthews wasn’t there to support her on the series’ famous bridge.
The couple, who have been married for seven years and share three young children, are currently worlds apart. And, instead of Spencer meeting Vogue on the bridge when she was voted out of camp, she was met by her agent Louisa McDonald.
So why wasn’t he cheering her on from the sidelines?

40-year-old Vogue is no stranger to reality TV. She competed on Bear Grylls’ Mission Survive in 2015, which she went on to win. Vogue was also a contestant in the 2017 series of The Jump on Channel 4, but was forced to pull out due to injury.
It was during this show she met future husband Spencer. They married in 2018 and share three children together – Theodore, seven, Gigi, five and three-year-old Otto.
However, last night, Vogue left the jungle, and Spencer was nowhere to be seen.

Spencer Matthews absent from Vogue Williams’ I’m A Celebrity bridge exit
Spencer Matthews knows the jungle all too well, having taken part in I’m A Celebrity back in 2015.
He too arrived as a latecomer on day three – only to bow out by day five. ITV initially cited medical grounds, but it later emerged he’d been using steroids for a charity boxing match and hadn’t disclosed it to producers.
Spencer later admitted it was a “serious error of judgment”.
However, a return trip to Australia to cheer Vogue on wasn’t on the cards for Spencer this year. And that’s because Spencer is in the middle of an extreme challenge of his own.
He’s attempting to complete seven full Ironman triathlons across seven continents in just 21 days. And he’s currently in Antarctica – the last stop on the gruelling challenge.
Last night, when Vogue exited the jungle, Spencer shared a heartfelt post in lieu of a bridge meet-up.

Sharing a picture of the pair smiling on a sun-soaked holiday, Spencer said: “Disappointed to hear that my gorgeous Vogue is out of I’m A Celeb but I’m so proud of the brave stint she did in there.”
He went on to praise her “heart, courage and fearlessness in challenges”. He also said she was “such a positive and pragmatic figure in camp”.
Spencer then explained why he didn’t meet wife Vogue – who was embroiled in a camp ‘bullying’ row – on the bridge.
He declared: “I would have loved nothing more than to have been there for her when she came out and am sending so much love from Antarctica.”
Spencer then revealed that he, Vogue and all their kids will be “reunited next week”. This will be after Spencer has completed his final challenge, and when Vogue returns home following Sunday’s I’m A Celebrity final.
