Classic Coronation Street preview: Casey gets cosy with Ashley, the Platt siblings argue - again - and Rosie makes plans

In Classic Coronation Street spoilers for ITV3 this week (November 3rd – 7th), Casey and Ashley’s relationship gets more serious as Claire moves out. Elsewhere, Rosie’s making plans for her future, and Carla moves into the flat.

Elsewhere, the Platt siblings keep fighting with bad consequences for Mel, while Sarah’s worried that Jason has got cold feet about the wedding.

And Michelle finds out what Steve was doing in Malta!

Rosie makes career plans

Rosie is thriving at Underworld with Carla and Liam treating her like a proper member of staff. Sally’s a proud mum.

Until Rosie is told to check the stitching done by the workers. Sally’s embarrassed when Rosie checks a pair of knickers she’s sewn and announces they’re not up to scratch.

Carla tells Rosie that there’s a job for her at Underworld if she doesn’t want to go back to school. But Kevin and Sally think that would be wasting her expensive education.

Steve pays the price for his holiday snog

Lloyd and Jamie continue to torment Steve over his ‘holiday romance’ while he won’t say anything in case Michelle finds out.

But with some pressure from the men, Eileen caves and tells them the truth about Shania.

Michelle wants to know what they’re discussing but Eileen manages to cover.

Lloyd winds Steve up by going through the Malta photos again in the pub. However his prank backfires when Michelle spots a picture of Shania kissing Steve.

Steve manages to convince Michelle that was he simply had a one-off drunken snog with Shania, and he didn’t sleep with her because he’s in love with Michelle.

But Michelle thinks she’s only had half the story. In front of the whole pub, she forces Steve to confess that the real reason he didn’t sleep with Shania is because Shania turned out to be a man.

Sarah’s worried about the wedding in Classic Coronation Street

Sarah is worried that Jason isn’t interested in their wedding plans. David says it’s because Jason doesn’t want to get married.

Jason assures her that he does really want to tie the knot.

Casey and Ashley are the talk of Weatherfield

Casey manages to make Claire think that the factory girls are talking about her when they aren’t at all. Claire’s paranoia continues to grow and she even accuses Hayley of gossiping!

When Ashley tries to speak to Claire over her paranoia once more, he suggests she’s mentally unwell again. Claire refuses to listen and Ashley’s frustrated.

Seeing Claire’s upset, Casey takes a chance. She manipulates Claire by suggesting she should go away for a while until she feels better. Claire’s grateful to have such a good friend.

Later, Claire apologises to Hayley. Then she moves to her mum’s house, telling Ashley they need some space.

Claire gets her feet under the table

With Claire away, Casey calls to see Ashley. She’s sympathetic and supportive and cooks them both a meal. Ashley’s grateful to have someone to lean on.

She spends the night and Ashley’s uncomfortable when she comes downstairs in the morning wearing Claire’s dressing gown. She introduces herself to Audrey as a family friend.

Audrey’s worried about Casey’s involvement with Claire and Ashley. She mentions her concerns to Bill, while Becky agrees that Casey’s up to no good.

Kevin’s also bothered when he calls to see Ashley and finds Casey there. He invites Ashley out for a drink but Ashley thinks everyone will be talking about him.

Everyone’s worried about Ashley

Becky warns Ashley about Casey by telling him that she’s up to no good, but Ashley refuses to listen.

Ashley has a go at Kevin accusing him of sticking his nose in where Casey’s concerned. Kevin’s shocked by his outburst.

Wanting to know what’s going on, Audrey quizzes Kevin about Casey. She’s disappointed when her worst fears are confirmed and Kevin admits she and Ashley are having an affair.

Audrey gives Ashley a piece of her mind, and begs him to put his marriage first. She tells him to put an end to his affair with Casey.

When Ashley tells Casey that Audrey knows about their affair, Casey’s angry with her for meddling and marches off to confront her.

She lies that Claire knows about their affair and that she and Ashley are going to be a proper family.

Paul could be the answer to Leanne’s problems

Dev offers to invest in Leanne’s restaurant but he makes it clear he wants a relationship with her. Leanne’s not interested.

Later, she confesses her financial woes to sympathetic Paul. She tells him she owes Roger £10,000.

The next day, Jack gets out some cash out of his tin to give to Paul. Paul notices the tin contains money and Jack and Vera’s pension books.

Paul turns on the charm and offers to collect Vera’s prescription. Vera’s delighted.

With Leanne stressed out over money and the future of the restaurant. Paul assures her that she’ll find another investor soon.

The Platt feud gets nasty in Classic Coronation Street

At a barbecue at Number 6, David gets flirty with Mel and makes her laugh. Later, he arranges to meet Amber, but when he doesn’t show she’s disappointed. David is too busy fawning over Mel.

With the Platt siblings still at war, Sarah ruins David’s date with Mel. She tells Mel how David’s got a crush on her and warns her that he’s a bit of a psycho. Mel’s grateful for the warning.

David waits at the cinema for Mel but soon realises he’s been stood up.

When he comes home, Sarah takes great delight in telling him she was the one who ruined his date.

Wanting to save face, David tells everyone he slept with Mel but got bored and dumped her. But the gossip spreads, and Jerry’s furious.

Jerry tells Gail. Fuming, she marches into the salon and drags David outside. She insists he’s going to apologise to Mel for spreading lies about her. Sarah’s delighted.

Troubles in Classic Coronation Street

Norris is preoccupied, so Emily and Doreen assume it’s because of the funeral.

Carla moves back into her flat, and Liam calls round to check she’s all right.

Cilla’s rude to one of the residents at the nursing home – until she finds out he’s wealthy! Then she starts being super-nice to him and flashing her stockings!

Tyrone gets a call to say his mum’s been arrested in Spain. He tells Molly he’ll have to fly out and bail her out.
