Christina was acting rather suss

In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Wednesday, May 20), Christina persuaded George to snitch on Summer to the police in a bid to protect themselves.

Christina had just been asked some questions at the station, before coming back all flustered and giving George some words of advice.

George then approached DS Connor-Swain when she was off duty and decided to snitch on Summer. But, is this just to protect Christina’s own ‘killer’ secret?

Christina encouraged George to snitch on Summer in Coronation Street

Tonight in Weatherfield, Lisa turned up to speak to Christina and asked if she could go down to the station to clarify some details from the night of Theo’s death.

Christina agreed and headed off to help the police with their investigations. However, when she returned, she was really flustered. She just told George that she had to fill in some gaps as she’d forgotten she’d gone to get petrol before she picked Todd up that night.

Brushing off the police inquiries as nothing to worry about, Christina then gave George a few words of wisdom. She suggested that he rethinked telling the police about Summer’s journal.

With George being the only other top suspect right now, the police looking further into Summer could help his case.

Outside on the Street, George then pulled an off duty DS Connor-Swain off to one side and admitted that he had something to tell her. She said it would stay between them.

But, George said that he didn’t want to get Summer into trouble…

All the ‘clues’ so far that Christina could be Theo’s killer

Time to kill

Christina definitely had time to kill when she nipped out of the house to fetch Todd on the night of Theo’s death. During this time, she was alone, now telling the police that she’d forgotten all about going to get petrol in between.

With nobody watching her on her way to get Todd though, and with Christina missing out this huge piece of information, it almost seems like she’s hiding something. Did she make a quick detour and bump Theo off before fetching Todd?

Overly protective of George

Christina also seems to be really fretting about George. While it’s normal to be concerned about your partner, being more concerned than they are about themselves makes us wonder.

Is Christina fearing that George might do time for a crime she committed? Was she so keen to get rid of George’s bloody sweater because she knew that it looked bad but he didn’t do it – she did?

Pinning it on Summer

George and Christina were really close with Summer until they’ve suddenly gone against her and are now ready to pin Theo’s death on her.

Considering they all hated Theo and wanted him gone, their reaction over Summer’s journal entry was a bit baffling. There’s proving your innocence by throwing someone else under the bus, and then there’s taking desperate action to get away with a crime. Which is it in this case?

Britain's Got Talent new judge

The Britain's Got Talent cast and crew are due to be filming auditions in Birmingham all week. It is the first venue on their list, with a string of other cities due to host auditions over the coming weeks. Next week, auditions are due to be filmed in Blackpool.

Thursday's round of auditions were due to be the first day on set for new judge, KSI. The YouTube sensation was announced as a full time member to the judging panel last month.

The rapper and boxer has been brought in to replace Bruno Tonioli having impressed bosses earlier this year. KSI stood in for Bruno while he was in the US filming when the 2025 series was being filmed. He has now quit completely due to a clash with Dancing With The Stars, which he is also a judge on.

KSI will now sit alongside Simon, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon for the entire 2026 series when it airs next year.

The star, whose real name is Olajide Olatunji, said: "I'm so grateful and happy to be a part of the Britain's Got Talent team for another season. I had such a good time last year and I can't wait to see some more top talent.

"I'm full of energy, ready to go and can't wait to make this the most entertaining BGT season ever. Let's do this."

Who won Britain's Got Talent this year?

The people auditioning for next year's Britain's Got Talent come hot on the heels from this year's winner. The 2025 series was won by magician Harry Moulding. Harry impressed the judges, studio audience and viewers at home with his mind-blowing huge tricks.

One of Harry's tricks saw him in Paris and he did a sky-diving stunt in another one. As the 2025 winner, he will now perform at this year's Royal Variety Performance. The show, hosted by Jason Manford, will be filmed for ITV and air in December.
