But, was tonight’s scene more important than it appeared to be? Has Jodie’s fate just been ‘sealed?’ Jodie had an interaction with Betsy (Credit: ITV) Jodie Ramsey’s trinket truth in Coronation Street Jodie’s day with David the dog quickly turned messy when Lily forgot the poo bags. She left Jodie to improvise with one of Toyah’s hankies – glamorous stuff. Just as she recovered, she was blindsided by Olivia, a blast from her past who had recognised her while on a school trip. Olivia questioned why Jodie had abandoned her and her sibling, especially when Jodie had previously said they were the best kids she’d ever looked after. Olivia bought it but wondered why someone ‘in hiding’ owned a dog. Awkward. After Jodie told Olivia not to come looking for her again, Betsy approached Jodie and David (still talking about the dog here), and introduced herself. Jodie really didn’t want to start a conversation with the teen, but Betsy filled her in on her thrifting adventures anyway. Back home, after chippy tea debates with David, Jodie reached for her hidden trinket box. Alone, she added Bernie’s cut-out wedding photo to her box of trinkets. Also in the box was Brian’s missing book. They both appeared to be trophies from carefully plotted revenge. Her name appears on a list alongside Carl, Theo, Maggie, and Megan. In a recent flashforward to April 23rd, Betsy was seen giving a statement to the police. She discovered a dead body and admitted that she knew the victim. Up until now, despite living next to each other as neighbours, Jodie and Betsy haven’t really interacted. However, tonight’s scene now means that Betsy does indeed know Jodie. And, she seems to be keen to strike up a friendship with her. Whether the pair interact again in the coming months remains a mystery. But, the small conversation could’ve just popped Jodie at the top of the list when it comes to being the April murder victim. But, is it all too obvious? What else happened in Coronation Street tonight? Bernie shared her concerns with Roy At Roy's Rolls, after a night spent at Chesney's due to a 'pigeon issue,' Bernie warned Roy to be careful around Mal. As Tracy asked Roy for Mal's details for Ken's electrics, Bernie told him to steer well clear. When Roy questioned Mal's ability as an electrician, she didn't have any evidence to support her 'bad feeling' about him. Steve bottled it Steve contemplated visiting his dad Jim at the hospital, with Cassie encouraging him to go. However, Tracy told Steve not to bother as he didn't owe him anything. Ben tried to support his new mate by accompanying him to the hospital. But, once at the car park, Steve bottled it and returned home. Ollie was stood up by Lauren Lauren got all dolled up for her date with Ollie but couldn't face him. She told Betsy that Maggie had not-so-subtly implied that Ollie could do much better than her. With Maggie getting inside Lauren's head, she stood him up. But, at least Toyah served Ollie up a free pity dessert. You win some, you lose some!
