Megan leaves Will heartbroken with her baby bombshell, but Coronation Street fans are convinced she’s lying
Megan's lied about a lotCoronation Street has aired another development in the Megan and Will grooming storyline, as she informs the teen that she had lost their baby. But fans aren’t convinced she’s telling the truth.
For months and months, Coronation Street fans have watched the horrific grooming storyline play out. Finally, it seemed like the end was in sight recently as Sam revealed the truth.
However, it’s still going on. And tonight’s episode (April 1) aired a shock twist, as Megan told Will she had lost their baby – after Maggie attacked her.

Maggie issued a dark threat to Megan
Will can’t keep away from Megan, as he still doesn’t understand that she has been grooming him. He told her how much he loves her and their baby, much to Megan’s delight.
However, Maggie didn’t trust that her grandson was actually keeping his distance, and decided to track his phone. Ultimately, it led her to Megan’s apartment – but Will had already left.
However, she came face-to-face with Megan, and made sure to issue her quite a dark threat.
Maggie told Megan that it was time she left for good, and never contacted Will again. But Megan clearly underestimated just what Maggie’s capable of and told her she wasn’t leaving.
That’s when things got slightly out of control as Maggie grabbed Megan and she fell to the floor.
Viewers didn’t see her go to the hospital, but the next time she was on our screens, it was her telling Will that she had lost the baby, breaking down in tears.
Will was clearly devastated by the news. But Coronation Street fans don’t exactly believe her.

Coronation Street fans don’t believe Megan’s baby bombshell
Following the episode, viewers took to Reddit and X to discuss the cliffhanger. And it seems everyone had the same question – is Megan lying?
One proposed: “She told Will they’ve lost the baby, but surely she is lying? She’s just trying to make it easier on herself. No way she is telling the truth, surely we would have seen her learn that news?”
Another agreed: “She is lying! Megan is always lying!”
“The pregnancy seems to be the only evidence of the grooming, so I don’t think the writers would do that. Unless someone finds them together,” a third penned.
Another didn’t ever believe Megan was actually pregnant. They added: “Was she even pregnant in the first place? It could’ve all been a manipulation tactic to get Will to stay.”
In another Reddit thread, fans wondered if she is really isn’t pregnant anymore, but actually had a termination. And the fall with Maggie gave her a way to explain the whole thing.
“Do you guys think Megan is telling the truth, and Maggie’s attack did kill the baby? Or is she using the attack as an excuse to get an abortion, so they can’t get DNA from the baby?” one asked.
Another responded: “Would she have even had time to see a doctor between Maggie pushing her, and telling Will? It happened so quickly.”
So, viewers will have to wait and see if Megan is lying about the pregnancy. But, with a shock mystery murder on the way, Megan could potentially be on her way out.

Anita Rani and her dad Bal
Broadcaster and presenter Anita Rani is used to taking on new challenges. Her latest TV project will see her swap the studio for the great outdoors as she embarks on the BBC's Celebrity Race Across the World with her dad, Bal. The duo are ready to leave behind luxury and convenience to navigate unfamiliar terrain together.
Anita has spent much of her career exploring new cultures and fronting programmes like Countryfile and Who Do You Think You Are? The Strictly Come Dancing alum also competed in the 2015 series of the BBC show and reached the semi-finals. The presenter is used to life in the public eye, but this latest adventure comes during a big personal transition. Anita, 47, announced her split from husband Bhupi Rehal in 2023 after 14 years of marriage.
She has described the experience of being newly single as "uncharted territory", but embraced it as the beginning of what she calls "chapter two" of her life. Recently, Anita has been spotted with new partner Alex Lavery, the creative force behind immersive sound company Frqncy Ldn. She has admitted that 2024 was a "traumatic year" but says it left her more appreciative of her health, family, and new opportunities.
Her journey of rediscovery has included solo adventures, from snowboarding in Italy to embracing new creative projects such as her Sky Arts documentary The Brontës by Anita Rani: Sisters of Disruption. In it, she explored how the lives of the famous literary sisters mirrored her own upbringing in Bradford as the daughter of Punjabi immigrants who worked tirelessly to establish their family in the UK. Anita has often credited her father, Bal, with encouraging her independence. Now, the father and daughter will be relying on each other more than ever as they take on Celebrity Race Across the World.

Dylan Llewellyn and his mum Jackie
Dylan Llewellyn has quickly become one of Britain's most recognisable young stars thanks to his roles in Derry Girls, Big Boys and Beyond Paradise. Now he is ready to take on his first reality show, Celebrity Race Across the World.
At 32, Dylan has already faced his share of highs and lows in the acting world. He began his career on Hollyoaks, starring in over 90 episodes as Martin Johnson, before appearing in dramas like Holby City. But after a promising start, work dried up. He found himself working in a café, making sandwiches and doubting whether acting was truly his calling. Just when he was about to give up, he landed the role of James Maguire in Derry Girls. The Channel 4 comedy became a global hit and transformed his career. Since then Dylan has led BAFTA-nominated coming-of-age sitcom Big Boys, and played PC Kelby Hartford in Beyond Paradise.
Dylan has spoken openly about how dyslexia steered him towards acting. He initially thought of drama as a "doss subject" before discovering a passion for performing. He went on to win a National Theatre competition in his teens and eventually earned a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Dylan has said acting became a way to wear a "mask" and step into roles that gave him the self-assurance he sometimes lacked in real life.

Tyler West and Molly Rainford
Strictly Come Dancing lovebirds Tyler West and Molly Rainford are swapping sequins for joggies as they join Celebrity Race Across the World. The couple met on the BBC ballroom series in 2022, and are ready to test their relationship on the road to Colombia.
Tyler is a DJ and presenter best known for his work on Kiss FM and Lorraine. He was eliminated from Strictly in the Blackpool week of 2022, but his time on the show introduced him to Molly, and the two quickly became inseparable.
Molly plays Anna Knight in EastEnders, but in recent months has announced her departure from the soap to pursue new opportunities. The actor went all the way to the Strictly final with partner Carlos Gu, finishing as runner-up. Her friendship with Tyler blossomed into a romance, and by March 2023 they confirmed they were officially a couple. In January 2024, they moved in together, and by summer 2025, Tyler had popped the question in Mykonos with a heartfelt proposal that left fans swooning.
Tyler called Molly his "best friend" and the "best thing that's ever happened to him". He also had to fight back tears on Lorraine as he spoke about how much Molly means to him. With wedding planning on the horizon, Celebrity Race Across the World will give them a chance to test their teamwork skills.
