Sarah killed Theo (Credit: ITV) Sarah killed Theo in Coronation Street Kit Green had everything lined up for what he thought would be a perfect romantic dinner with Sarah. He even quietly hoped it might end with a proposal. But the mood shifted fast when Sarah bailed on their lunch plans to go and see Gary at the yard. Kit caught the frosty exchange between them and couldn’t help thinking something didn’t add up. Things only got messier later at the pub when Sarah invited Todd and Summer along, prompting Kit to fire back by inviting Gary and Maria too. With the table suddenly packed and tensions rising, Maria stole the spotlight by raising a toast — before dropping the bombshell suggestion that Gary and Sarah had been secretly involved for weeks. So, where does this leave Sarah? (Credit: ITV) Tina O’Brien teases Sarah’s future on soap following killer twist With Sarah keeping one huge killer secret, she now risks Gary telling Maria everything about Theo’s murder. And, then, there’s the huge risk of prison to worry about too. Speaking about Sarah’s future on the soap, Tina O’Brien has admitted that the direction of the storyline wasn’t clear yet. She said: “There was a lot of debate in the green room as soon as we were told there was going to be a murderer. A lot of people were playing Cluedo, first off some of the cast got told that they were involved in the storyline, but they weren’t the murderer. So by the time it got to me to go for my meeting, I was a bit like, I think it’s me! But I genuinely didn’t worry, at the end of the day this job is incredible, but to be an actor is not necessarily a job for life. So, I just was really excited to be given the honour of being the murderer, and then hopefully, however it plays out, I’ll enjoy Sarah’s arc. Perhaps, Sarah shouldn’t worry too much. After all, Gary’s killed in the past, and he’s still roaming free. Kit and Sarah’s future at risk One thing Sarah is extremely worried about though is her relationship with Kit, and Tina has hinted that the couple might be dead in the water: “It’s just constant guilt, guilt that she didn’t just call the police when it happened, guilt that Kit thinks it’s Gary, and she knows that she’s responsible for that. It’s guilt that a man has died, it’s guilt that Summer has spent time in prison. There’s a lot of guilt there and I think also, selfishly, she feels like she’s ruined her chance with Kit, because if he knows what she’s done, he might not want her anymore and she so wanted him to be her future.” It seems that, if the truth does come out, Kit and Sarah are over. But, will Sarah end up going to prison? What else happened in Coronation Street tonight? She wanted something else and needed some time to work out what that something was. Sam's outburst Roy visited Sam at the hospital and brought along with him a cream slice and a travel chess set.
