This came after the tragic loss of Billy Mayhew who died during the huge Corriedale car pile-up at the start of the week. But, with Summer spending more time with Todd, will she realise that Theo’s been abusing him? Summer only has one dad left now (Credit: ITV) Summer and Todd grieve Billy in Coronation Street Summer had a real heart to heart tonight in Todd and Theo’s flat as she opened up about the loss of Billy. She explained that she’d already lost three dads. Drew had died, and then Paul, and now Billy. Todd was the only dad she had left alive. Article Continues Below Read all the latest Spoilers Todd had always been the ‘funny’ one, Paul was the ‘silly’ one who felt more like a brother, but it was Billy who felt the most like a ‘dad.’ He’d been the one to tell her off, nag about uni essays and keeping up with her medication. He was always there for her. Todd then reassured Summer that while he could never replace Billy (even branding him the best person he’d ever known – sorry Theo), he wasn’t going anywhere and would support her. Theo, keeping the horrible secret that he’d left Billy to die in the burning van, gave Summer his best wishes. But later on, he made Todd change his mind about his previous plan to leave him and promised he wouldn’t treat him badly again. He needed him just as much as Summer did. Todd helps Summer prepare for Billy’s funeral (Credit: ITV) Coronation Street spoilers ‘hint’ that Summer could expose Theo abuse In upcoming Coronation Street spoilers for next week, grieving Summer spends a lot of time with Todd. This is of course something that Theo would hate considering he’s been trying to isolate Todd from his loved ones. Summer and Todd pick out of photo of Billy and discuss the eulogy. Summer then breaks down when she sees the ambulance arrive at the undertaker’s with Billy’s body. But, with Summer going through Billy’s things, could she find any note or sign that he’d made about Theo’s abuse of Todd? He was the only one who knew, after all. And, spending so much more time with her dad, she’ll be there to keep a close eye on Theo. His abuse will now be very hard to get away with. Is Summer the key to exposing abusive Theo once and for all? What else happened in Coronation Street tonight? Kevin had it out with Carl Both Debbie and Kevin visited Carl tonight, with Carl wanting to know how much Debbie could remember about the crash. The great news was the Carl would be making a recovery. But, the cogs were turning for both Debbie and Kevin. Kevin confronted Carl, rightfully accusing him of putting Debbie in the driver's seat and pinning the crash on her. He'd made it look like she'd had a TIA, not even bothering to get her out of the vehicle to safety. The Webster drama just keeps on coming. Everything was 'too much' for Carla Carla returned home to No.6 as Betsy stood in disbelief over her mum Becky's deceit. Lisa hoped that she and Carla could go back to 'how they were before,' but with Lisa confirming that she had slept with Becky, it was all 'too much' for Carla who then left the house once more. Jodie was still a mystery Mystery woman Jodie walked by Shona at the hospital and 'looked as though she'd seen a ghost' when she looked at her. Hmmm... Shona and David prepared for their baby's birth With David explaining to Shona that she'd had a seizure but was alright now, he got ready for the birth of their little one. Shona worried that it was too soon for their birth, but David assured her that the specialist team would look after their baby girl. She was coming now whether they were ready or not.
