Tyrone Dobbs made a mysterious phone call to someone at the end of tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Thursday, May 28).

He told someone that he needed to discuss the night Theo was murdered. This, coupled with Tyrone lying about seeing Summer on the Street that night, makes him look suspicious of something.

Here are all the ‘clues’ that Tyrone was really behind Carl Webster’s car crush attack.

1. Tyrone lied about seeing Summer

Summer Spellman was being questioned the other week when she suddenly thought of a witness that could help prove her innocence.

Thinking back to the night of Theo’s murder, Summer finally admitted to having an altercation with Theo in the flat.

However, she then said that she left the flat to retrieve her dropped phone from outside. Tyrone had been on the Street and had seen her walk off, looking up to also witness Theo alive and looking out of the window after her.

However, when DS Connor-Swain asked him to verify Summer’s story, Tyrone told her that he hadn’t seen Summer. A flashback then confirmed to viewers that Tyrone had lied. He did see Summer.

With Tyrone failing to back Summer up, this meant she was charged and was sent to prison. So, what could’ve been so bad that Tyrone felt the need to lie to the police and let someone innocent go to prison for murder? Hmmm… Anything Carl Webster related perhaps?

One fan on X wrote: “Tyrone is claiming he never saw Summer, which makes me wonder if he’s guilty of what happened to Carl and doesn’t wanna be caught about that. I’m now thinking it wasn’t Ronnie now,” but could this be true?

2. He was at the wedding ‘all night’

In his conversation with the police, Tyrone told Lisa that he was at the wedding ‘all night’ and didn’t see Summer outside. By using this story and going against what really happened, if the Carl car crush was to become a police case and turn towards him, it would give him a strong alibi.

Tyrone’s story removes him from the scene. And, knowing Carl, Carl could bring up the car crush at any point and want revenge. This was probably Tyrone’s safest bet if he did do it.

One fan suggested: “So Tyrone dropped the car on Carl then.”

3. Tyrone’s phone call

Tyrone made a suspicious phone call to someone tonight after feeling guilty about Summer’s time in prison.

He told the person on the other end of the phone that they needed to speak about what happened on the night of Theo’s murder. If that doesn’t scream guilt about something, we don’t know what does.

Now, we don’t reckon Tyrone had any hand in killing Theo himself (he literally had no involvement in that storyline but we do love a twist), so we’re thinking of another big thing that happened that night. One that somebody else is clearly in on too.

Could that be Ronnie Bailey though? Well, fans think this could be the big secret Tyrone’s been hiding. He and Ronnie teamed up to injure Carl.

A fan online wondered: “Was Tyrone maybe helping Ronnie clean up the garage when he saw Summer?”

So, just what is going on with Tyrone? What does he know?

Ryan had words with Danielle

Danielle turned up at the bistro just as Todd was spending some time with his loved ones on the day of Theo's funeral.

She then accused Todd of killing Theo, using the insurance payout as a motive. Christina then noted that Danielle would only know about Todd getting the money if she'd phoned up ask ng for it herself. Another motive again.

Ryan then followed Danielle out and told her that he spotted her hanging around after dropping the wedding cake off on the night Theo was killed. He was watching her...

Daniel told Ken the truth

Ken offered to pay for Daniel's next trip to the Lakes. It did him the world of good last time. Daniel was then forced to admit that he didn't actually go away before.

Instead, he was holed up in his flat with only Jodie for company.

Hope studied with Will

Love-struck enjoyed studying with her new crush Will, but Fiz had a word with Eva and admitted her concerns. Hope was inexperienced in comparison to Will. She had only ever had one boyfriend in Sam but that was more friends-based.
