Dev Alahan was busy going about his day when DS Lisa Swain turned up at the corner shop to arrest him. This was because Mal Roper has suddenly remembered who attacked him (but, of course, he hadn’t really – it was all a lie). Mal had a ‘memory flashback’ (Credit: ITV) Mal ‘remembered’ who attacked him in Coronation Street ITVX episode Mal Roper’s back on the Street after his time in hospital, and he’s still desperate to get with Bernie and ruin her marriage to Dev. Tonight, he thought of the perfect plan and headed over to the police station to speak to DS Lisa Swain. He shocked her by revealing that he’d had a sudden ‘memory flashback,’ remembering who was responsible for his attack. Lisa then did the decent thing in informing Kit about the allegations first, considering that Dev was technically his step-dad. It was fair to say that the news shocked Kit. But, with Bernie now in a very difficult position and torn between husband and son, will Mal successfully come between Dev and Bernie? Will his plan work out perfectly?
