1. Mal makes himself at home in Coronation Street spoilers

Dev and Bernie arrive back from their holiday hoping for a quiet return, but their hearts sink when Mal shows up and happily announces he plans to stick around for the foreseeable future.

Later, Mal heads to the police station and tells Lisa he’s had a sudden flashback and now remembers who attacked him. Lisa quickly messages Kit, asking him to come to the station as Mal claims he can finally name his attacker. As the news lands, Kit and Bernie exchange worried looks.

2. Bernie faces an impossible choice

Dev is questioned about the attack on Mal, leaving Bernie on edge. She confides in Gemma that it was actually Kit who attacked Mal – and fears the only way to clear her husband’s name might be to report her own son.

Kit later reassures Bernie there’s no evidence linking Dev to the attack, insisting neither of them has anything to worry about. But Bernie is left stunned when Mal comes out with a shocking proposition.

3. Bernie makes her choice

At Chariot Square, Ryan watches anxiously as Bernie walks down a corridor, knocks on a bedroom door, and steps inside. Mal tells her that just being in the same room is enough for him, patting the bed for her to sit beside him.

As Bernie struggles to mask her disgust, will she actually go along with Mal’s indecent proposal?

4. Theo goes the extra mile for Todd in Coronation Street spoilers

After quietly sabotaging Todd’s marathon preparation, Theo meets Sarah, James, Gemma and Chesney at the tram stop and casually claims he knocked on Todd’s door but got no answer, guessing he must have already set off.

In reality, Todd wakes up groggy and confused, soon realising in horror that he’s slept through the marathon entirely. Later, when Theo returns to the Street proudly sporting his medal, a mortified Todd keeps out of sight from his friends.

Theo eventually persuades Todd to let him in, and as Todd beats himself up for letting everyone down, Theo pulls him into a hug. But will Todd find himself drawn back in by Theo once again?

5. Theo’s determined not to lose Todd

George cautiously hints to Todd that Theo might not be the best influence, but Todd takes offence. During lunch, Theo reassures George and Christina that he’s changed and that Todd’s happiness comes first.

George smiles, but once Theo leaves, he admits to Christina that it’s all a front and they need to keep him on side. As he works to win Todd back, Theo shares his scheme with Gary.

6. Theo’s surprise comes with a ring

Theo tells Todd he has a big surprise in store. Dressed to the nines, he leads a blindfolded Todd to the register office, where Gary and Maria are waiting. Holding out two wedding rings, Theo reveals they never called off their wedding – it can still go ahead. But how will a stunned Todd respond?

7. George rushes to help Todd escape in Coronation Street spoilers

Todd wakes with a pounding headache after the chaos of the previous day. Theo, unimpressed, heads out for a run while George calls for a cuppa.

When Theo returns, he assumes Todd is in the bathroom and hurls abusive remarks through the door. But Todd appears with teabags and George steps out of the bathroom, leaving Theo quietly horrified. How will George respond?

8. The Driscolls close ranks

Ben calls the family together to talk about Megan’s baby and her refusal to take a DNA test, but things quickly get heated when Will leaps to Megan’s defence and Maggie loses her temper.

Ben later persuades a reluctant Will to attend a counselling session, hoping he might finally open up about Megan. But when Kit reveals that forensics on Will and Megan’s phones show nothing illegal, Ben and Eva are left frustrated.

Daniel urges Sam to go to the police with everything he knows, convinced Megan should be punished. Hope, however, warns Sam that Daniel and Megan could be working together and advises him to keep quiet, leaving Sam more worried than ever.

Meanwhile, Ben admits to Steve and Tim that he feels he’s let Will down and that trusting Megan was a mistake. Both men offer their sympathy. Later, Sam confides in Hope that he’s binned his phone after suspecting Daniel was tracking his emails, deciding it’s better to stay cautious.

9. Connie’s new babysitter is recruited

Betsy and Dylan step in to babysit so Carla and Lisa can head off to work. With little Connie fast asleep, the pair end up cuddled together on the sofa.

Later, Jodie turns up and offers to take over looking after Connie, reassuring Carla that she’s fully qualified.
