With Kit Green on his tail and being adamant that Gary was the one to kill Theo, Gary urged him to ‘prove it.’ The end of the episode then aired a very intriguing flashback that put Gary right at the scene of the crime. Gary told Kit to ‘prove it’ (Credit: ITV) Maria suspected Gary of an affair in Coronation Street At the factory today, Gary entered Sarah’s office for a secret chat. The pair discussed a secret that only they were both in the know about. Gary said that it was only a matter of time before the truth came out and they got found out, with Sarah reassuring him that he’d gone through something similar before and made it out the other side. At the salon, Maria was busy tidying up Sean’s hair when she was informed about Gary and Sarah’s office meet-up. Insecure, Maria couldn’t help but worry that the pair were having an affair with each other. After all, Gary has definitely been acting differently as of late. Kit then followed him out onto the Street and made it clear that Gary was still his number one suspect. He was certain that Gary had been the one to kill Theo. He just needed to find some solid evidence. Gary then told him to ‘prove it.’ As he walked away though, it was obvious that he was bricking being caught for something. A flashback to Theo’s murder night then showed Gary at the top of the scaffolding while holding a mallet. He could be seen staring down at Theo Silverton’s body on the floor. This puts Gary at the scene of the crime, but did he kill Theo? Or, was Theo already dead by the time Gary got to him?
