In today’s early ITVX episode of Coronation Street (Tuesday, May 12), Will Driscoll reported child groomer Megan Walsh to the police.

With Tim supposedly driving him to the airport, he then took him to the police station and urged him to report Megan.

And, after taking some time to reflect, Will finally accepted that he’d been a victim of grooming.

On his way to drop Will off at the train station, Tim received a panicked message from Ben. With the Glasgow train cancelled, suspicions were raised when Will still insisted on being dropped off at the station.

Ben realised that Will’s passport had gone, and Susie had confirmed that Will took the £2k from the safe. The mission was now to stop Will from fleeing the country with Megan.

Tim tried to do so by telling Will all about his own past experience with older woman Tricia. He wanted to make Will see that he was just a child when he was taken advantage of and technically raped, even if he didn’t see it at the time.

Will then told Tim that there was something going on between himself and Megan. But, it was different. They loved each other. With this, he asked Tim to take him to the airport. And, Tim said he would do just that.

While Will wasn’t happy about it, he started to realise that Megan had groomed him.

Tim assured him that his family would be there for him and were really worried about him, with Will then taking the brave step of heading into the station and making a breakthrough U-turn by reporting Megan.

Once he’d finishing giving his statement, the Driscolls were there waiting for him and gave him the biggest hug.

Now, the mission begins to track down Megan though… Will it be an easy one?
