Finding Todd in the Rovers, she soon took him aside to reflect on both of their relationships with the late Corrie villain. She then decided to open up to Todd and shared an alarming truth about her past marriage. Danielle had a chat with Todd (Credit: ITV) Danielle’s complex relationship with Theo Danielle, Miles, Millie and Theo seemed like an unbreakable family until Danielle caught her husband cheating on her with Todd. Finding out that Theo had been hiding his sexuality for years, she blamed Todd for taking her husband from her and the kids. The huge tension the situation caused led to Miles and Millie cutting all ties with their dad. In the weeks before Theo’s death, Sarah summoned Danielle to the bistro to see if Theo had ever abused or hurt her. Sarah was rightly concerned about Todd’s safety and hoped that Danielle could help her friend. However, Danielle denied Theo ever being abusive towards her. Danielle was honest with Todd (Credit: ITV) Coronation Street ITVX episode sees Danielle open up on difficult past relationship While Danielle has been somewhat of a mysterious character with an unknown background, she decided to be honest with Todd in today’s early ITVX episode of the ITV soap. She met Todd in the Rovers and was taken back to George’s place to sit down and chat. Danielle then decided to reflect on her past marriage to Theo. She told Todd that Theo was a good dad to the kids at first and gave her some happy times. However, while he never abused his power, he did control a lot of their family dynamic. She realised that she was secretly afraid of him and was too scared to speak out. She then told Todd that she was sorry for how Theo treated her. If he needed anything at all, then she would be there for him. After all, only they knew exactly how Theo could be. But, what’s with the sudden U-turn? Has Danielle finally realised that Todd was just a victim in all of this? Or, is there a reason she needs him on side?
