We definitely need a moment to recover from this week’s episodes because everyone in Weatherfield was being so extremely mean and very shouty. Theo’s got a dark side to him and Todd’s bearing the brunt (Credit: ITV) Theo and Todd’s relationship just keeps getting worse First up, let’s talk about the shocking scenes between Todd and Theo. Todd’s been walking on eggshells thanks to Theo’s volatile temper and once again he bore the brunt this week. Todd was delighted with the new car Theo bought him, but Theo’s using it as a weapon. Not literally of course (not yet!) but he was holding Todd to high standards and blaming him for not looking after the car when he failed to meet them. It was unsettling to watch as Theo wrong-footed Todd again. Theo is so sinister and the way his mood changes from minute to minute is frightening. It broke our hearts when Todd was so worried when Harry spilled milkshake on the back seat. Article Continues Below Read all the latest Spoilers But it was when Todd accidentally scraped his new motor and lied about it to Theo that things took a darker turn. Luckily, Theo’s tirade was interrupted by Sarah. And we’re hoping that she’ll be the one to realise what’s going on in her ex’s relationship. Sarah and Todd’s friendship is the nicest thing to come out of their toxic teenage romance, so we can’t help thinking she’ll realise what’s happening to poor Todd. Becky is desperate to get her own way (Credit: ITV) Swain v Swain in our Coronation Street review Becky is a bad person and we do not like how she’s manipulating Lisa and Betsy and generally just being nasty. She was all ‘oooh let’s watch Game of Thrones’ and ‘I wanted to come back’ and we were very suspicious of her motives. Our suspicions were confirmed when Costello rang and claimed the credit for lying to Lisa about Becky wanting to come home. Bad times, indeed. We were very disappointed that Betsy decided to go to Spain with her newly resurrected mum but we get it – she loves Becky and she’s missed her. But come on, Betsy! Abi wants a divorce (Credit: ITV) Abi, Kevin and Carl drama The worst love triangle in Corrie history (or is it a square – where does James Bailey fit?!) continued this week with Abi asking Kevin for a divorce. Carl, who thinks he knows everything, told Abi not to get lawyers involved if she wanted things to stay amicable. Hmm. We’re thinking it’s not a lawyer that’s causing the problems here, Carl – it’s you. Anyway, Kevin is still reacting really, really badly to the whole thing and lolling about on the sofa feeling sorry for himself. Abi thought about nicking a car. Carl’s plotting to fleece his sister. And the whole thing is just one big sorry mess. Bethany gave Hope some affirmations to say (Credit: ITV) Hope’s messages in our Coronation Street review It’s not often we feel sorry for Hope, but she’s being bombarded with mean messages on her phone which are leaving her rattled. We’re beginning to wonder if her sister Ruby is behind the nasty comments. Could she be the one tormenting poor Hope? Gemma and Bernie set up Naomi and she took the bait! (Credit: ITV) Asha’s agony Poor Asha is still struggling with the aftermath of her suicide attempt and this week she was horrified when first Bernie and Gemma, and then Dev tried to help. Gemma and Bernie set up Asha’s attacker, Naomi, in the Bistro. Gemma annyoed her until she lost her cool and decked her, while Bernie filmed the whole thing. Kit was on the scene and he arrested Naomi, but before he took her away, Dev spoke to her. He was full of emotion about what Asha had done. Unfortunately for Dev, someone else was filming and the altercation was shared online. Now everyone knows what Asha did, including her brother Aadi. Asha’s furious with Dev and has gone to stay with a friend. Dev’s furious with Bernie and has thrown her out, and the whole family seems to be falling apart.
